I would love to move but you can't hide from weather extremes. Plus I get a pension from my job. Can not leave until retirement.

The dogs were day laborers for the fence guys??springparrot wrote: ↑February 1, 2021 3:51 pm Ok.
The truth comes out. The fence guys hit the cable a few times but didn't severe it. When the dogs were digging in the yard, they finished pulling it apart.
We still don't own dogs and don't know what they were digging for.
But after 1 1/2 days, we have TV.![]()
Reading all that weather makes me glad the worse I have is a little snow to deal with.Rabbitz wrote: ↑February 1, 2021 3:18 pm No. No. No and Nope.
Shovelling out your driveway just so you can get in and out of your place?
No.
I do not get it. I would have moved years ago.
So just in case you think you guys are having all the fun...
Around these parts, in the last few days, we have seen:
Fiji was just hammered by a cyclone (TC Ana).
A cyclone is threatening New Caledonia and Vanuatu (TC Lucas).
A tropical low in the N.E. of Australia looks like it will form a cyclone.
A tropical low in the N.W. of Australia looks like it will form a cyclone.
Both of the tropical lows are feeding moisture down to the south and east coasts where we are copping an absolute soaking.
But don't worry, climate change is a hoax perpetrated by a cabal of big businesses and governments ably assisted by every. single. climate scientist in the world. So the snow, cyclones, typhoons, mudslides, hurricanes etc are not actually real... So stop shovelling that snow - you are aiding and abetting the evil cabal by doing so!![]()

I have tinnitus and the tv noise helps cover it up. But when it is quiet, all I hear is my ringing ears.![]()
Good luck with the tests. Is it right to say good luck? Best wishes perhaps?melon59 wrote: ↑February 1, 2021 5:32 pm Snowing here again, but I was able to contact the snow plow guy and he cleared the driveway before we got home from work. They weather guessers are saying that we might get another 1-2" of snow overnight.
Got a negative Covid test result in preparation for the cardiac tests tomorrow...at least I got that going for me... which is nice...

Almost 40 years in and out of the music game.
30 odd years as a diving instructor.
Competitive rifle shooter since 14 years old.
Despite wearing hearing protection/ear plugs at gigs and on the rifle range my ears never stood a chance.
I guess that makes sense but I have never shoveled snow and never want to.SeattleParrotHead wrote: ↑February 1, 2021 7:04 pmI was just watching "Buying Alaska" on TV and the couple was moving from Alabama....
