Got a negative Covid test result in preparation for the cardiac tests tomorrow...at least I got that going for me... which is nice...
Good luck with the tests. Is it right to say good luck? Best wishes perhaps?
Thanks so much Rabz! I appreciate the good vibes! 👍

Good evening!

1) I have shoveled snow since I was a kid. Luckily the apartments we live in do a pretty good job at shoveling/plowing. And usually in Colorado - it snows one day, the next day the sun is out. Our sun is great, and dries out the sidewalks/roads pretty quickly.

2) I have tinnitus, for about 10 years now. Getting louder and louder. Actually, when I press near my ear on the left side, it gets louder! That stumped the doctors. I *think* mine is because of flying when I had an (unknown) sinus infection. Had to put a tube in the ear that was the worst.

3) It's not snowing here. It was 58 degrees. Same for tomorrow. Snow/rain starting Wednesday evening.

4) Not able/ready to move to warmer climate - yet. Still have my Mom to take care of, and not financially able YET.

5) All good thoughts, ((((Tammy))))

6) Glad your cable is back, Molly!! :)

7) That is all. :D

Evening gang. Couple more inches of snow today made for a fun drive home from work around 6:30. Unlike Bill, I'm going to treat my body like a tent and skip the gym tonight. Not worth driving in this.

Good news is I have a couple carryover vacation days from last year to burn before April so I'm planning a trip to Fort Myers the last week in March. Our hockey team is playing 3 games down in Estero so I'm going to make a Wednesday-Monday out of it at the beach.

Done Tampa/Clearwater a ton in my life but never Ft. Myers. Any tips/recommendations?

Snow just began here a short while ago and we're in the 10"+ estimates for overnight. It's very peaceful and quiet, and a Norman Rockwell vibe definitely settles over town. And shoveling never bothered me, such a mindless activity, and this is the shortest driveway and front walk we have ever had.

moogli, as a fellow old, I also remember Wonderama.

Michi, moog - well at least you put on a sweater!

Good to see that you at least wore a hat to shovel the snow....

Around these parts, in the last few days, we have seen:
Fiji was just hammered by a cyclone (TC Ana).
A cyclone is threatening New Caledonia and Vanuatu (TC Lucas).
A tropical low in the N.E. of Australia looks like it will form a cyclone.
A tropical low in the N.W. of Australia looks like it will form a cyclone.
Both of the tropical lows are feeding moisture down to the south and east coasts where we are copping an absolute soaking.
So I just got a message from a contact who is a Member of Parliament in Vanuatu, in part he said:

Fijians right now are:
- rebuilding from TC Yasa last month.
- dealing with TC Ana right now.
- bracing for two more potential cyclones in the coming days.

My heart goes out to the folk of Fiji.

Competitive rifle shooter since 14 years old.

Despite wearing hearing protection/ear plugs at gigs and on the rifle range my ears never stood a chance.
My dad is a retired Marine who worked with heavy explosives & guns. They were at the range 1 day & a young guy thought it would be funny to shoot before he was given the ok. Dad happened to be standing beside him & didn't have ear protection on yet so he only has 30% hearing in his right ear.

Not sure where my tinnitus came from. Surely not drag races??!! 😖😊
Or musical shows. ;)

When I was working, I used to get ongoing (migraine-ish) headaches. If I took 2 tylenol 3 times a day, I was ok.
If I took 2 pills 4 times in a day, the next day my ears would really ring. It would take a few days for my hearing to go back to normal-ish.

Sounds like the back to back to back hurricane season the gulf coast experienced. 🙏🙏🙏
