I. AM. A. DOOFUS.
I was out the back in the shed working on a model (a scale model for those with dirty minds, my days of hanging with models have sadly passed). While using CA glue (superglue) to put together some tiny, fiddly parts, I managed to glue two of my fingers and the parts to each other.
Luckily, the acetone bottle had just enough left in it to get me extricated.
In my defence, I was left unsupervised...

Didn't catch the whole story but something was on the news today about a lady who that she was using hair gel but it was gorilla glue (really powerful super glue, good stuff!). Have no idea how she confused the 2

Good morning everyone~
I guess Rabbiz is running out to buy more acetone before he gets near that model again.
We are hearing about some snow that may be coming our way later today and into tomorrow but it doesn't sound like it will be much.
Other than that we've just Grandson Eli's 10th birthday party today. We've been getting some movies from the library to fill in the spaces when the tv shows we follow don't have new episodes recorded.

I went to get my nails done this morning and now I'm home with a few chores and laundry to do.
Tomorrow we are going to go see my in laws in the early afternoon. Bryan is making steak tartar for him and his dad and I will be taking the stuff to make a homemade pizza

Butcher section was cleaned out of ribs, wings, etc. We were lucky to grab a bag of frozen wings.
For brunch we'll do smoked trout and smoked salmon, toasted NY bagels (real ones that our friends sent), and Bloody Marys.
Wings pre-game and meatball sliders for half-time. Mr. Lime is making homemade sauce for both.
Rabz - if you are in a pinch most nail polish remover contains acetone, ask Toni to check her labels

We were at the grocery store today, and it was oddly NOT busy. We're not having any kind of Super Bowl party, and not even watching, but it's a place that's usually swamped before any 'special event'.
