10 day forecast shows only 2 days of daytime highs above 20 (21). Only 2 Night time lows of greater than single digits (10). Ain't nothing melting around here for awhile...

Good late morning. I probably can wait until tomorrow to do laundry but there's rain in the forecast so I'll do it today. I can sit on the couch with a cup of coffee and watch The Thing, the original one from the 1950s. It was on TV a few days ago and I DVR'd it.

Anyone doing a Super Bowl party thing tomorrow? Ain't happening for me. DC won't even be leaving the house......

The HOA's social committee is having a Big Game (I'm not an official NFL sponsor so I can't say S***r B**l) party at the cabana by the pool tomorrow. I don't think I'll go. Game time is about 6:30, the sun will by down by then and it's supposed to be in the low 40s-high 30s tomorrow night. No reason to be outside in that kind of weather when I have no rooting interest in the game.

Starting washing all the bedding.
Made Spam and eggs for breakfast.
Time to shower and go to the grocery store.
Then work on laundry till it's time to go get my second vaccination.
Dinner out afterwards.

Got everything accomplished today that I/we wanted/needed to.

And I got my 2nd vaccination, so I'm done. I was/am still hesitant about it.. BUT - I work in a hospital (they aren't requiring it), have my mother in assisted living (who may require it if I want to visit in person), and I wouldn't be surprised if the airlines require it-and we like to travel.

Ate a very good meal for dinner. We didn't eat a lot for breakfast at 9:00 am, and by 4:30 pm, we were hungry. Good burgers!!
