Afternoon, BN. Never had an interest in football. But had fun watching the Giants vs Patriots Super Bowl at one of Little Feat's annual Jamaica getaway.

We have heavy snowfall at the moment. The snow seems to be on the dry side so I might go out later.

Sang! It's snowing and blowing up here right now. Jamaica sounds pretty nice.

Was it the Super Bowl where the Giants beat the Pats? Or the other one where the Giants beat the Pats?

We have snow falling at Ringville. We signed up to attend our 9:00 church service but we’re still at home. Not sure what the forecast for inches is but at this point we don’t really care

The grandson’s movie theater 10th birthday party was a success (Disney’s Pixar Movie In and Out was great). The place had every Covid precaution in place and we had one employee “assigned” to our group and he was amazing. Even offered to take the family picture. This is the combined Fritz/Ringer clan.

I don't have a dog in the fight but we do have a quarterback!! I'm sure ya'll know hy now that Mahomes went to Texas Tech!!!! So proud of him and hope he gets 2 rings in a row. ❤

No snow here but blue skies and sunshine!!

Going on a roadtrip in a few minutes...finally got a time slot for my first shot. Not really a roadtrip, just to our Dr office but glad to get in the car.

No dog in the fight here either but I'm rooting for Mahomes too.

Our road trip was a success! Got a message that they were ahead of schedule to get there asap. It was a walk through, sit down, get a shot, sit for 15 more min and done. I was actually back in rhe car before my scheduled appt.!

Us Aussies always have a wry grin on our faces when we hear (read?) Americans talking about supporting their sporting teams.

This is yet another example of two cultures separated by a common language.

Here in Oz we have a *completely* different meaning for the words root and rooting. You see, how can I put this in PG terms?, rooting is something that happens when a mummy and a daddy love each other very much...

So when someone says something like "I am rooting for <insert team name here>" we immediately think "geez, how can I get me some of that action!".

on Armed Forces Radio when I was in the central Pacific and Germany. But I did watch the replays shortly afterward.
Best game in my opinion? Baltimore Colts over the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl 5 with a last minute FG.

Still have internet but the power went out on our street about half hour ago. All dark in both directions. We have a generator, as does one other neighbor. But there will be a lot of unhappy Brady fans if the power company doesn't get their act together in the next hour.
