Good Morning Everyone!

We've got nothing on our schedule today until a special dinner at our local German Club. We have a professional chef on staff-- the only paid staff member - who is excellent and has a spectacular menu for Valentine's Day. The club is following all COVID regulations and this all be the first time since last March that we have been there. We are so happy to be able to support the club.

We are on Grandson Austin duty Sunday evening - Monday afternoon since his parents both work Monday and he has a school holiday and we have a work holiday. We haven't had him for a sleepover since......well, we don't remember so it must have been pre-Covid. Seems that's how we time-line everything now "pre-covid"......how sad......

Good morning BN. Another cloudy, rainy day here, 50's so at least it's not snowing.

Off this afternoon to the VA for a first covid shot.

Good COLD morning. It's -2. Spitting a little snow, but more later this afternoon. Not going to get above freezing for several days.

Still, we're going to stop by and see Mom. Bundled up, and I decided I'm going to play her some music from my phone. E got my music transferred, and I have the soundtrack to "Phantom of the Opera". She used to LOVE it, so we'll see if we can make that work.

Then lunch, grocery shopping, and back home.

Off to the shower and bundle up for errands!

Good morning. No snow here, just a lot of rain the next few days. It's a little chilly too. Nothing like some of you are dealing with but it's 38 degrees and the wind chill is near freezing.

All week long the talking weather heads have been saying the we were going to get 4-8" of snow, starting Friday night and going thru Sunday. When I went to bed last night it was lightly coming down and just starting to cover the grass. This morning there's about 6" on the ground and it's still coming down. All they're talking about on the morning news is the "sudden and unexpected winter storm"...

MeTV used to show reruns of The Wild Wild West. The acting, especially from Robert Conrad, was awful but I loved that show.

We got more flowers delivered this morning and by 1:30 we were sold out of red roses. Just glad that we have made it through another Valentine's Day.
