With a sheet of sleet and now it is slowly snowing. If you find my videos in fb you can hear the sleet.

Everyone remember that we live on the Gulf coast of TEXAS!!! This isn't the east coast or Canada but semi-tropical Texas.
For now we have power but there are rolling black outs.

Bryan and I are off today. We only got about half an inch of snow overnight but it's been flurrying off and on all day. We are supposed to get 6-8 inches overnight and tomorrow.
Finishing up laundry and cleaning house.

Good evening folks. Waiting for our turn of the crappy national weather.
I felt like something different so I made lasagna. With the possible ice storm coming I got the
fixings for pork, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes for tomorrow.
If I get Japanese take out Wednesday I'll have an Axis theme going for the week so far.

The snow has started hard and heavy here in north central Ohio. Our county is currently on level 1 snow emergency. I fear it will get worse before it gets better. Bryan got in touch with the guy who plows our driveway and we are on his list for getting cleared tomorrow....or Wednesday depending on when the snow stops. Be safe phriends.

Just got a message from my boss that she shut down all of the wire services today for tomorrow, so I should just stay home. I thanked her but told her if things changed to let me know and I could get there as soon as possible.

Except for breakfast, out and a cold trip to the work shop, I haven't been out.

An hour of painting and packing art is the day's effort.

The NY Islanders are on NBCSN and the Carolina Hurricanes are on the local cable sports channel, both at the same time. The remote control will get a workout tonight switching between channels.
