Good morning all. 20 out with a wind chill of 0. Still about 6" of hard snow on the ground from the multiple storms the past couple of weeks.
Down to my lowest weight since my Pensacola/Vegas trips back in September. Celebrating by making myself a pound of bacon this morning.

Good afternoon.
All the teams in the NHL have an alternate jersey this year, they're calling it reverse retro. The Carolina Hurricanes used to be the Hartford Whalers so their retro jersey is a Whalers design. They wore them in last night's game, the Whalers had a great logo.
Avs jerseys look good today. Although I wish they'd use the Quebec Nordiques blue along with the logo. Shame that after 13 years doing outdoor games they still can't figure out the ice situation. Oh well, looks like I'll be watching the rest of this game after midnight tonight.
I don't like the red jerseys Vegas is wearing. But when your franchise history only goes back 4 years, it's tough to come up with something retro.
We are so lucky. Our water was deemed safe to used this morning...we can drink it, bathe, cook, whatever.
Most of Houston's water is unsafe to drink....if they even have water. There is almost no water available to consume in stores. And so many have broken pipes and flooded homes.

Good news! I have a friend in Houston who was supposed to have a much needed medical procedure this past Thursday and she was cancelled due to the weather conditions! There are so many different stories out there.

This area just fell apart with the first snowflake.
