Made it to ATL & bellied up to the bar at Gordon Biersch.
The 2 girls beside me are headed to St Thomas. 1 is celebrating a divorce, the other a break up. I twisted their arm (yeah right) into a whole bottle of prosecco

They were gonna pay almost the same for 2 glasses, just trying to help some sistas out.

Honest question...
When will it be OK to have the shot & NOT have to wear the mask??

Good Morning All
Departure has a verrry nice ring to it at this point. Alas, congrats to those who are able to make it happen & to those that are in pause mode (myself included) let patience be your virtue!
Have a great day Gang!

Good morning all. 20 out with a wind chill of 0. Still about 6" of hard snow on the ground from the multiple storms the past couple of weeks.
Down to my lowest weight since my Pensacola/Vegas trips back in September. Celebrating by making myself a pound of bacon this morning.

I've had my shots but I'm still staying close to home and still wearing a mask when I go out. The Pfizer vaccine has a 90% efficacy rate; that's still a 1 in 10 non-efficacy rate. I won't feel safe until everyone is safe. If I was 30 (and still bulletproof) I might feel different but I haven't been 30 for a long long time. I'm not eating the M&Ms....

On a lighter note, it's NATIONAL LOVE YOUR PET DAY. That's pretty nonsensical...
'cuz anyone with a pet knows that's every day of the year!

You can still carry the virus with the shot and spread it. The vaccine will help prevent a full attack on your body.

Exactly! I have round-the-clock live-in nursing care, so I am very aware of what is going on at all times.

Good afternoon.
All the teams in the NHL have an alternate jersey this year, they're calling it reverse retro. The Carolina Hurricanes used to be the Hartford Whalers so their retro jersey is a Whalers design. They wore them in last night's game, the Whalers had a great logo.

would someone please explain this to me in a way that makes sense????? (remembering that we were one of the last "swing states" in the recent presidential election and have a Democratic Governor whose Secretary of Health is now employed by the current president).

Afternoon BNers
It is a great 56Β° with cloudless beautiful blue skies!
After the last week, it is nice seeing blue and not gray with ice and snow.
And we have clean water!!!! It is amazing how you want to use water when you do not have any water and/or clean water.
Bless the people that have busted pipes and flooding.
Anyone remember pojo? She was without power for most of the week ans has busted pipes.

Avs jerseys look good today. Although I wish they'd use the Quebec Nordiques blue along with the logo. Shame that after 13 years doing outdoor games they still can't figure out the ice situation. Oh well, looks like I'll be watching the rest of this game after midnight tonight.
