That sounds yummy...in all combinations!
It's smelling so good right now! I'll let you know how it turns out!

Evening, peeps. Sunny and cold in Limeville.

Caught up on work stuff this morning and then did my house chores. Now we're walking around the corner to my sister's house for happy hour and dinner. And it is seafood! Mediterranean baked cod and roasted broccoli rabe. We're bringing Key Lime pie that Mr. Lime made. [smilie=yum.gif]
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...

Today will be spent, finishing up laundry and some minor cleaning. And I have a nail appointment.
Then a couple of tests tomorrow morning and then I'll go to work afterwards.
[smilie=coolup.gif] Great news, Tammy!

The Islanders are getting a new arena starting next season. During today's telecast, NBC showed a couple of overhead shots of the arena. I don't know how far along construction of the inside is, but the outside looked like it was complete. It's being built in what used to be part of the parking lot of Belmont Park Racetrack, about 5 miles from where I grew up on Long Island. I've been an Islanders fan since they were an expansion team in the 1972-73 season. I went to my first game in Oct, 1972. I went to my last game in Oct., 2012, less than a month before I moved to South Carolina. When things are back to normal and they start playing in the new arena, I have to get back up to Long Island and go to a game.

Good evening all. Fish, shrimp, crab, lobster, clams, mussels, and oysters are all good for me. But never raw.
Gotta cook it. :pirate:

Evening BN.
Helped my friend pack numerous boxes, made 3 trips to the storage unit & 1 trip to the dump.
Stopped by the grocery store on the way home for dinner stuff. We had salmon & baby potatoes on the grill as well as broccoli. I'm stuffed!

The pups seem to love the fence as they come in each evening, eat dinner & crash. That makes me a happy camper, lol!

Tammy, when I got to me friend's house today, the propane truck was there filling them. They are on an automatic refill but said they always have to call because they get down to 10% & start to get worried. They were at 40% today & they had not called... They got filled to 90%. We have the same propane company & I've never had to call to get filled.
I did share your story with her.

I'm feeling a nice hot bath with some RM & a stiff drink is in my near future 8)

I've never had sashimi, nor do I want to and I ate live minnows once.

I was a kid.

It was Canada.

There may have been a dare.

Good luck on the upcoming surgery, Tammi. We're pulling for you.

Well you'll never know what you are missing out on!

As you know, in a previous life, I spent a little bit of time working in Florida, usually two or four weeks in a stint. Living in a hotel and also having an 'entertainment' budget and per diem meant that high quality, healthy food was in short supply. Hotel, restaurant and take out food were the norm.

On one extended trip, I was feeling lousy after a couple of weeks. One lunchtime I convinced the team that sushi/sashimi would be a good choice. After lunch I walked out feeling so much better - after all the rich processed food the simple clean fish and rice was something my body could process. After that I ate there when I could...

I just wish they would put us on a rotation for an automatic fill schedule. But, I guess that takes too much common sense! 🙄

Ironically they ARE on an automatic refill but have still had to call too. Ridiculous!

I would enjoy it enough, but knowing it could be dipped and fried wins out. :D

Whenever I hear about key lime pie it reminds me of the Kenny Chesney song -

Not too tart, not too sweet
My baby loves to watch me eat
Her key lime pie

Maybe Renee Zellweger didn't make a good pie.

With the subject of this thread I am so glad no-one went down the Dad joke path of saying that they're on a see-food diet - when the see food they eat it...

That would have been unseemly.
