I got a fed refund of $1 and a South Carolina tax credit of $15. I'll try not to spend it all in one place.

A few months ago I was forced to find a new team to work for. I moved under a new boss and into a great little team.

Today they announced that the boss is being moved onto a big project which is in trouble.

So now we need to break in a new boss.

Ditto... Short staffed with CNA's, and one patient who should be in a mental ward, not in our hospital. He's been abusive to many of the staff. Today he hit one of them, broke her glasses. Luckily we have an eye doc in the building. He took her lenses out, put them in another frame, and gave them to her. And that patient is being discharged tomorrow.

So our Unit Secretary who is in quarantine is gone. We had one CNA for the entire floor, so the other one who was covering had to go back on the floor. I went to give her a 15 minute break at 11:30 and I never got back to my own desk until 4:00. No lunch. A co-worker brought me a bottle of water, so that helped.

Stopped at the grocery store for a few things and everybody and their brother (and sister, too) was there. Got all that I went for the meals for the weekend. We're not going anywhere, not even a visit to Mom.

I'm exhausted..

I hadn't seen that he was here. I've not seen any reports of thunder snow coming, but we've had it here before. It's cool.

We don't have a lot of space, either. So it was just about 3 months ago that I got rid of most all of ours, except what is new - AND have matching lids.
