Evening, peeps. TGIF
Happy Fri Lime! How's it going in vacationland?
Gorgeous sunny spring day, hit the low 60s!
Sadly, no.
Hopefully your work can help eventually bring closure to a loved one.tailgaitingph wrote: ↑March 12, 2021 4:58 pm Sooo bones (of a body) were found in our county today & our SAR team will be headed out tomorrow to search for clues. I was scheduled to work & haven't been this excited to go into work in a while!
We were cloudy but made it up to 71°!lime rickie wrote: ↑March 12, 2021 4:57 pmGorgeous sunny spring day, hit the low 60s!
How's by you?
Happening here, too. Properties are selling sight unseen and well above asking price.Rabbitz wrote: ↑March 12, 2021 5:03 pmSadly, no.
Australia is in the grip of a housing bubble - people are buying at well over the market, site unseen. Consequently if you aren't right there on the day things are listed you have no chance. 75% of properties listed for auction sell before auction day.
In the city we want to move to, rental houses are getting 80 inspections and 40 applications on average.
It's like the toilet paper madness, except millions of times more expensive...
Kinda the same over here. I'm looking into buying a condo on the beach in AL or FL. It's such a 'buyers' market that everything I save to look into is sold before I get a chance to look more into it. Like sold in 1-2 days of it going on the market. I don't have to have it so it's kinda crazy to think that's where we are right now.Rabbitz wrote: ↑March 12, 2021 5:03 pmSadly, no.

Did you tell him that we'd be happy to take care of him?bodypainter wrote: ↑March 12, 2021 4:55 pm Hi there! I got a few fish in the boat today. Boy, was it windy! My partner had gone to concerts 30 years ago. I told him he should bring his wife to a JB concert. He said she didn't like crowds or long lies, I laughed and told him, Okay, never mind."
Powers that be decided we would go out tomorrow to search for clues.tailgaitingph wrote: ↑March 12, 2021 4:58 pm Sooo bones (of a body) were found in our county today & our SAR team will be headed out tomorrow to search for clues. He'd probably come, but his wife may not let him. Too bad, because she's the fun one.tailgaitingph wrote: ↑March 12, 2021 7:44 pmDid you tell him that we'd be happy to take care of him?bodypainter wrote: ↑March 12, 2021 4:55 pm Hi there! Oof, that says a lot! But he fishes so he can't be so bad, right?bodypainter wrote: ↑March 12, 2021 8:05 pmHe'd probably come, but his wife may not let him. He's good company, but quiet. Think of me fishing with Bob Newhart.tailgaitingph wrote: ↑March 12, 2021 8:09 pmOof, that says a lot! I should probably go check my local supermarket. This is a holiday celebration that I would enjoy!LIPH wrote: ↑March 12, 2021 6:20 pm Sunday is Pi Day (3/14) and once again the bakery department at my supermarket has apple pies on sale for $3.14. I bought one today and will be having a piece with some vanilla ice cream to celebrate. I'll do it again tomorrow, Sunday and every day until the pie is gone.
