Hi there! I got a few fish in the boat today. Boy, was it windy! My partner had gone to concerts 30 years ago. I told him he should bring his wife to a JB concert. He said she didn't like crowds or long lies, I laughed and told him, Okay, never mind."

Gorgeous sunny spring day, hit the low 60s!

How's by you?

Sooo bones (of a body) were found in our county today & our SAR team will be headed out tomorrow to search for clues. I was scheduled to work & haven't been this excited to go into work in a while!

Have you guys found a place to move to?
Sadly, no.

Australia is in the grip of a housing bubble - people are buying at well over the market, site unseen. Consequently if you aren't right there on the day things are listed you have no chance. 75% of properties listed for auction sell before auction day.

In the city we want to move to, rental houses are getting 80 inspections and 40 applications on average.

It's like the toilet paper madness, except millions of times more expensive...

Hopefully your work can help eventually bring closure to a loved one.

We were cloudy but made it up to 71°!
I worked ot last night til 0100 but got all laundry done & a whole lotta paperwork that has been hanging around filed or thrown away so I'm happy about that. Conflicting info that we might be going in tonight for coming up with a game plan for tomorrow's search task...

Happening here, too. Properties are selling sight unseen and well above asking price.

Kinda the same over here. I'm looking into buying a condo on the beach in AL or FL. It's such a 'buyers' market that everything I save to look into is sold before I get a chance to look more into it. Like sold in 1-2 days of it going on the market. I don't have to have it so it's kinda crazy to think that's where we are right now.
Good luck to you & Toni, lol!

Sunday is Pi Day (3/14) and once again the bakery department at my supermarket has apple pies on sale for $3.14. I bought one today and will be having a piece with some vanilla ice cream to celebrate. I'll do it again tomorrow, Sunday and every day until the pie is gone.

Powers that be decided we would go out tomorrow to search for clues.
Although I would've happily gone out tonight, this works for me as I now will be in the field vs stuck in the office for (hopefully) most of the day tomorrow!

He'd probably come, but his wife may not let him. Too bad, because she's the fun one.

One bright spot in this week. Just noticed our stimulus $$ are “pending deposit” for Mar 17.

He's good company, but quiet. Think of me fishing with Bob Newhart.
Back in the day, he cut loose at an Allman Brothers concert. Spinning around drunk, hde bellowed between every song, "Play My Woman from Tokyo!"

I should probably go check my local supermarket. This is a holiday celebration that I would enjoy!
