My laptop didn't change either. I thought if I restarted that might do the trick but it didn't. I wound up changing the time manually.

Re: Spring Ahead SUNDAY@ the MSC
I got the first shot Friday morning. I felt fine all day, didn't even have any soreness in my arm. I don't know if it was a delayed reaction to the shot but last night about an hour or so before I went to bed I felt a little lightheaded. Then I didn't sleep well and I woke up about 4:00 this morning.Crazy Navy Flyer wrote: βMarch 14, 2021 1:27 pm Good afternoon BN. That's beautiful snow, Penny!
Upper 70's and sunny here but I'm down and out. No reaction from my first covid shot but got the 2nd yesterday and its kicking my azz.

Apple's my favorite but I also like lemon meringue. Probably because it goes so well with my sour personality. And Key Lime, can't forget that.

Not too bad, Bill! Although I did have an episode of shoulder/arm pain the past 2 nights. It seems to come on when I lay down for the night. Propping up in bed seems to help somewhat. Thanks for asking

Morning All,
Well we broke our run of 55 days without a community based Covid case. A worker in a quarantine hotel has been diagnosed.
The thing is, as a quarantine worker he has already been vaccinated... Oopsy.
Strangely the gubbernmint and the press aren't too keen to talk about that aspect.

I like Canadian bacon and mushroom or a simple margherita....
Our local pizza joint has a special today where you buy one and get a second for $3.14.

I know the voices in my head aren't real, but sometimes they have really good ideas....

Re: Spring Ahead SUNDAY@ the MSC
Language is a curious thing.
Over the last few days there have been a few examples of the "separation by a common language" scenarios here on BN.
A day or two ago there was a picture of a bacon filled bread roll from Wendy's with the curious title of "Bacon Sandwich". Here in Oz a sandwich is where the filling is contained between two slices of bread, where as what was depicted we would call a "Bacon Roll" as it is on a bread roll*.
Today we have the "Pizza Pie", here it's simply "Pizza". A pie is something with a pastry lid.
Now today being called Pi(e) Day is odd to us antipodeans as well. The date is 14/3 nowhere near and approximation of Pi. July 22nd is Pi(e) Day - 22/7!
