it was a balmy 89 in chambers 5 when I arrived at 8:10.

It's now almost 3 hours later and we are "down" to 82 -- there's a cold front blowing in.

Aftnoon, BN. It was soooo cold this morning. And the bits of wind didn't help. Thankfully it warmed enough that I could take the ferry on the way home.

Have a good one.

Afternoon BNers

No rain (but looks like it could) or snow just overcast and gloomy. Ugh.

Everyone please stay warm and dry. ❤

Wet, wet, wet.

They're still forecasting an inch and more of rain every day for the next week, which is the same forecast as last week.

March 15, 2020, we decided with covid getting closer to start quarentee-ing. We didn't just kinda stay in the house, we did not go out in public. The only reason to go out was Dr appts or to get drugs...period. I lost count, how many times I went out, but it was less than 20 times....the entire year. Larry did the same thing. We used alot of delivery to our door and Ryan would mask up and buy groceries about twice a month.
We had no idea this would last this long (no one did) but now that we are fully vaccinated, we are still going to stay home. We might loosen up as time goes on but no idea when that will happen.
Everyone please stay safe. ❤

Thanks...I guess. Never thought I would be almost housebound this long....

It is our choice but with health problems, it was the right thing to do for us.

Hi there! We took a drive and shopped. Once home, I dug up and replanted a huge bush for Anne. The neighbor's friendly chicken came by and got in the hole for the bush. I had to gently boot her away to keep working.

I finished the day cooking steaks on the grill. now, it's beer thirty.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

The water table must be up, right? Forest fires won't be a problem like last year I assume.

At our other house, we had a chicken show up. No idea where it came from. The kids loved watching it.

Actually we've had three brush fires nearby in the last couple of days.

It depends on what happens during winter and spring. We are just heading into Autumn so with it being so wet if we have a warm winter and/or spring the undergrowth will go nuts, next summer it dries out and away we go again :)

Yep, they are fun. These two sneak up when I'm outside and catch me off guard. They are ninja chickens.

My sexist dad theorized about brush fires in the spring. "women clean out the house, light a burn pile and go to the mall."
