We're stuck, literally, at home today. Snow is up to my knees and more in areas. The highway that we take to get to work is closed. This is a huge Interstate highway. And it's a BAD day to not be at work for me. Payroll day and a new hire supposed to start.
We can only shovel a small area out our front door. And it snowed even more after this picture was taken. Gotta love E. LOL!!
There's a sidewalk under there, somewhere.
I guess I shouldn't have pointed fingers and made fun of you yesterday. The remnants of that storm started coming through our area around 3:00 this afternoon. Isn't going to drop anywhere near what you got, but after almost two weeks of bare ground and clean streets, it's beginning to look more like Christmas again than St. Paddy's Day or Easter. -"BB"-

My sexist dad theorized about brush fires in the spring. "women clean out the house, light a burn pile and go to the mall."
As we used to say - there are only three sources of ignition for a bushfire:
Men;
Women; and
Children.
It is amazing that if you chart bushfire incidents against school holiday and non-school holiday times then it leads to one conclusion
Last year was an exception due to the preponderance of dry lightening storms and pyrocumulus storms (where fires create their own lightening storms).

No hard feelings. It got into the 40s today and will be 60 by the end of the week.
