I am very afraid of the virus and residual effects. A friend of a friend, who I met years ago, had a mild case of Covid last summer. Eight moths later, he still can't taste food. I have one eye to see detail and it's not good even then. I can't afford to be around spreaders of a mutated strain which will infiltrate rural America because too many are already anti mask and anti vac.

Kevin and I will get shot. I’m in Phase 1C (judiciary staff). Kevin may be sooner as he is “pre diabetic” but that’s not a guarantee of moving up the list.

Right now our state is still only a small way through Phase 1A. At the rate we are going it will be mid summer until it is our turn. Our current plan is to sit tight with any gatherings other than family and not travel until both of us are vaccinated.

I know. If we can get 80 percent a shot we have a chance to keep the mutations at bay. This spring break I've seen disgusts me. Couldn't wait another year?

Colorado does not have enough vaccine and appointments available for the groups that are eligible. I have been eligible for 11 days and and can't get an appointment anywhere within 50 miles.

The governor's solution? Make another group (1.b.4) eligible this Saturday. He promises to make everybody eligible by May.

Evening all. Nice day today here. About 65 and fairly sunny. Worked until 6:30, came home and went to the gym. Relaxing now and watching the Bruins/Pens game on TV.

From what I understand Mississippi will vaccinate anyone over 16. Do they have that much vaccine or is no one in Mississippi getting the shot????
