Ha! This reminds me of a cable story from 50 years ago. With few regulations, the cable company in town used telephone poles and even trees to run cable that wasn't that high. My dad did some work in the oil fields with a big truck that had a pulling rig, a large metal boom that pulled the rods and pipe from a well. One day, he came home to our quiet side street with the boom partially raise, snapping cable lines for blocks.

Funny story. After lunch one day I am at work and said I smell onions. I had a whopper for lunch. Lo and behold an onion was in my shirt pocket. I pulled it out casually ala Oscar Madison.

The Hurricanes won and I had 2 beers.

It was a good evening. Now I'll have to check the scores to see if the Islanders won. The Golden Knights game didn't start until 10:00 eastern time so I won't know how they do until I wake up tomorrow.

Reading back/catching up. Yes, Cameron is okay. He says the folks he works with are mostly okay. Some friends know the victims, tho.
