Good morning BN. Palms are nice house plants and an important part of the trop rock art. We had a palm for years, but it finally died. I miss it.

Good morning Bill. It’s an ugly Palm Sunday here at Ringville. We were spoiled by yesterday’s weather.

Kevin is brewing the 2nd batch beer today and I will get some errands done that I missed yesterday.

It was sooooo nice gathering with the kids, spouses and Grandboys yesterday. I had a great nerf gun battle with Austin and Eli but with 2 against 1 they aniliated me. But that’s ok under the circumstances! They had a ball teaming up against Nonny :D

We had a great time visiting with the newlyweds and Milo for his birthday and Easter yesterday. His dad is taking him back to Florida today. He had a blast with his cousins.
Finished up laundry this morning and being lazy for a bit until it's time to start making the green beans and the mashed potatoes to take to the in laws for a turkey dinner this afternoon.
On the agenda after we get back home is to re read the binder of surgery instructions... pretty sure I have to start some new meds tomorrow in preparation.πŸ™„. Oy vey.

Good morning BNers. Cloudy today with storms expected later.

I have one lone palm out front, was planted in 1998 when I bought the house.

And the yard work begins, mowed yesterday for the first time of the season.

Good morning. We have palm trees here, the South Carolina state flag has a palmetto palm on it. I'll go out on a limb here and say that's why we're known as the Palmetto State.

There's a hockey game on NBC at noon, then NBCSN has 3 games - 3:00, 5:30 and 8:00. Good thing the beer supply has been replenished.

I would have to count......1,2,3,4,5.....5 out front.......and 1,2,3,4,5.......5 in back.....10 palms. Pain in the A$$ as they grow faster than you can trim them.

Lunch at Hooters, Mobile, AL.....actually, Tillman's Corner.

Afternoon BNers

I don't think this fence will ever get finished. Between the kids with covid and Dad getting stitches, everyrhing is on delay.

We kinda have bluish skies.

Aloha, peeps. Grey, cold, and pouring here. Blech. Indoor chores all day. Happened to be on line checking work when new manager logged in with a question, so brownie points there for working on the weekend, I guess.

Church bells pealing all day before we finally realized that it's Palm Sunday. Pretty to listen to, even with the rain. There are four churches within a one mile radius. Maybe in summer with all the visitors, but off season there aren't even 2000 people in a 20 mile radius, and even fewer due to COVID. Have no idea how the churches survive year round, even with virtual services.

We had another beautiful sunny 75 degree day. I just got a weather alert on my phone about strong storms in the area. It's raining so hard it looks like a wall of water coming down. Thunder and some pretty strong wind gusts too.

It turned out to be a pretty fast moving storm. The rain stopped, the wind died down and if it was a little earlier in the day, the sun would be peeking out from the clouds.

We just had that here for about 15 minutes. Now it’s done and the early evening sun is setting.
