Another child that I served lunch to died this weekend. She was about 24. Evie was troubled in elementry school and it didn't get better as she got older. She had 3 kids from 3 baby daddies..... Evie's grandma was the school music teacher and raised her and her brother.
Another teacher's daughter OD'd recently. Suicide/accidental ODs are rampant and I hate it.
How sad for you Molly.
Thank you. I haven't seen either of these young women for in years but worked with Mom and Grandma daily for years. How horrible for their families .

Just back from root canal surgery.
It didn't go smoothly and the surgeon expects a fair bit of post-op pain and discomfort.
This was to fix a botched earlier job which was (unknown to us all) quite infected underneath in the jaw.
To make matters worse, I have a true dentist phobia...

Busy day at Ringville and Calamity Cove. Tables, chairs and grill back out on the decks, tabletop fire pit put together, privacy screen attached to deck rails, and got some planters re-potted. All carpets swept inside, AC filter changed, and a bamboo “bee house” hung. (This was a September birthday gift from my law clerk). I’m anxious to see how it works, especially since I’m allergic to bees.
I slept poorly Friday night and woke with a bad headache and a severe case of full blown boy aches from my second shot. But, I’ll take that over Covid!
We’ll be getting up earlier than normal tomorrow as Kevin is scheduled for surgery at 7:30.
