Good morning BN.
May the Fourth be with you as it’s National Star Wars Day. The Ringers were never huge fans but our daughter and SIL sure are.
Have a fantastic Tuesday.
May the Fourth be with you each year on National Star Wars Day. Or is it, “May the force be with you?” It all depends on whether you like using puns or not.
Thousands of Star Wars enthusiasts celebrate this day each year with parties and celebrations around the nation.
Star Wars fans didn’t first introduce the often quoted phrase on May 4th. It was 1979, and Britain elected the first female Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher. On May 4th, the day she took office, the Conservative Party placed an advertisement in The London Evening News, which read, “May the Fourth Be with You, Maggie. Congratulations.”
Star Wars creator, George Lucas, was asked during a 2005 interview on a German news TV channel to say the famous sentence “May the Force Be with You.” Upon doing so, the interpreter interpreted the sentence into German as Am4 Mai sind wir bei Ihnen (On May 4 we are with you). TV Total captured this and aired it on May 18, 2005.

Good morning Linda. I enjoyed the first three movies and didn't care for the others, seeing only one. I painted a 4 foot high copy of the first ad back in the seventies for my art room.

Good morning Linda, Bill, and Honey!
I think I've seen bits and pieces of the newer movies, but I'm like Bill. Love the first three better - tho there were some good parts of the newer ones.
Rain/snow stopped - but it brought over 2" of moisture in some places, which is good!
Off to that work place!

I think I saw the first Star Wars when it was released but that's the only one.
Supposed to put the boat in the water today after 5 days of working on it at the shipyard but weather may force a delay. I'm getting too old to be scraping and painting sailboat bottoms.

Good morning. I saw the first Star Wars movie the day it opened, the theater was half empty. I saw the next 2, but not on opening day. I saw the next 3 on cable instead of in a theater. I saw The Force Awakens in the theater, I think that was #7 or 8 and it was 5 years ago. If I happen to notice they're on TV, I might watch one of them but I don't seek them out.

Was never a star wars fan, but happy Tuesday.
These 3 1/2 hour work days are a drag. Give me a beer.

I don't get it, but I will believe you.
Finishing up some paperwork on the computer, and having a cold beer here at Hooters in Columbia. I asked the nice waitress gal which I have if she knows Larry? She said she doesn't, but has heard rumors.

Just got home from the dentist. I remembered how to operate a motor vehicle, yay! I stopped by the flower shop....it's the hell that is Mother's Day week AND the local high school decided that they WOULD have prom this year and of course they are having it this Saturday! I feel so bad that I'm not recovered enough to get back to work to help!

Sorry to disappoint you but I've only been to Columbia once, it was for a Buffett show 10 or 11 years ago. I didn't go to Hooters when I was there so no Hooters girls would know me.

Holy Hot Humid Day Batman........
I went into work this afternoon (I've been working at home in between caring for the patient). It was nice to get away

. A church friend came to hang out with Kevin for a few hours -- gives both of us a break. Another friend is coming on Friday afternoon while I go into work....again, a win/win for me and the patient.
Last night was pretty darn rough. Hoping we both get more solid sleep tonight.

Hi there! I seeded a bank and spread a bale of straw n it while slogging through the mud. It was humid and the chaff off the straw made my arms look like a Zagnut.
I showered early.
