Good morning BN. Finally getting the boat back in the water at noon today after a week in drydock painting the bottom and other maintenance. It's an hour trip back to my marina so happy hour will be while sailing today. Perfect weather.

Sun trying to bust through the fog outside this morn, a bit frosty as well at about 38 heading to 50. Showers/T-Storms possible later with also a possibility of hail Good weather for a indoor work day I guess.
This is not TGIF weather! Regardless, we're in for a bit of a cool snap. Get ready you PA'ers.....I'm sure you'll see it in a day or 2!

The minor league baseball season started Tuesday, the Pelicans are on a 6 game road trip. The last 2 years they played in the minor leagues, 2018 and 2019, the Pelicans had the worst record in the league one year and the 2nd worst record the other year. They're picking up right where they left off. They've lost the first 3 games, have been outscored 20-10 and have twice as many strikeouts as hits. I looked at the box score from yesterday's game. One of their relief pitchers pitched to 6 batters. He gave up 4 hits and a walk, threw 3 wild pitches and was called for 2 balks. Somehow, only 3 of the 5 baserunners scored.

It's supposed to be 75 degrees today so I will not be wearing pants.

I've lost my marbles so I won't be wearing pants either.

I just realized that I have neglected to share some pretty big news. While I was in the hospital having surgery Bryan bought (insert really big drumroll here) A HOUSE . We had looked at the house and had put an offer on it but the seller accepted another offer. That offer fell through and our agent asked Bryan if we wanted to put our offer back on the table. He said yes and it was accepted. Our youngest daughter and her husband are buying our house and we closed on the sale yesterday evening.
Our new place is smaller and we're going to make some upgrades a little at a time, but it's in a private community called Apple Valley. There's a big lake, beaches, pools and lots of things for the grandkids to do! We're going to see if we can get a slip so the new SIL can dock his pontoon boat at the lake so it will be more convenient than hauling it every time he wants to go boating.

We're getting another Landshark Bar & Grill, up in North Myrtle. It's going to be at Barefoot Landing, the same place as Lulu's, House of Blues and the new Crooked Hammock Brewery. Grand opening is scheduled for May 18. I might take a ride and check it out but I don't know about going on opening day, maybe give them a week or 2 to iron out the kinks.

I went to the park for my daily walk and there were a lot of motorcycles on the road. I forgot today was the unofficial start of Bike Week, the official dates are May 10-16. I decided to stop at Total Wine on the way home and replenish my beer supply. I don't like going anyplace during Bike Week, all the bars and restaurants are too crowded.
