Big fish are even bigger in a small boat. I remember pike in Canada getting loose in the leaky boat and thrash the length of the boat, scattering tackle and kids as well.
So are small fish! I love catching bass when I'm out on the kayak but even perch, sunfish, etc feel like a whale.
I have to edit my favorite saying, but it starts with and s with...
Inever met a fish....................naked........that I didn't appreciate.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Or a mermaid
The aquarium here in town has a "breakfast with a mermaid" promotion, I think they only do it on Saturdays. I've never gone. I don't eat fish.
