Good morning. It’s been pouring here for the last 24 hrs. At least my flowers, herbs and veggies are happy.
I was awake around 6 this morning. That’s 20 mins. earlier than a work day.

Gooood Morning Ringville! We got our much needed soaker Thursday. After a chilled blustery Friday we’re welcoming super sunshine this morning, albeit at 42 degrees. Not sure what the day entails but suppose I should get moving. Enjoy gang!
Lucky you ! We are expecting the same weather for tomorrow but for now our holiday on Monday looks to have wonderful outdoor-type weather.

Good morning Linda and Ken. I caught a cold this week. It's the first time being sick in 2 years. I have a doctor appointment Tuesday that will be rescheduled due to this.
Rats.
I visited with a friend this morning, He lives on the river and he watched a dozen canoes yesterday full of camping gear floating down river in an all day rain.

Chilly and dreary here today. The day will be spent cleaning up the house in preparation for the grandkids to visit tomorrow. With the upstairs under construction, they will have to camp out in the family room and the daughter and SIL will have to sleep where they can find a couch or recliner. The visit is going to be quick but we are having the first family get together in over a year, so we are happy that they will make it!

Good morning. We could use some of that rain, according to the weather guesser we're in a moderate drought.
If the Pelicans keep playing like they did last night, they're going to give the manager a heart attack. They were winning 10-4 in the 9th inning. The relief pitcher gave up 3 hits and walked 2 batters so now it's 10-6 with the bases loaded and only 1 out. They bring in another relief pitcher and he walked the first 3 batters he faced. Now it's 10-9, bases still loaded and still only 1 out. Somehow they held on to win.

Afternoon, BN. It's a cold and wet day. Hoping it gets better for Monday. It's a semi-beach, maybe coaster day.
Have a good one all.

Remember, tomorrow is the real Memorial Day. Not this nine to five holiday to BBQ on Monday.

Afternoon BNers
After storming most of the night, it is a beautiful day. Don't think we got much rain, but so much noisy thunder.
Astros are getting ready to play the Padres again. Hoping the game is better than last night.

Just got back from a walk around the neighborhood. One of the streets is Montague Lane, the next street over is Capulet Court. I still didn't see Romeo or Juliet.

Aloha, peeps.
The unofficial start of summer is grey, chilly, and drizzly in Vacationland. Needed an ear wrap for the morning dog walk and we just put the fire on for tonight.
Inside chores are done. Mr. Lime is wrangling a braised short rib stew for dinner. We need something to watch, last night I watched the original 'Village of the Damned', it was wonderfully creepy and cheesy. Not sure what the choices tonight are. Love some of the old standbys, Kelly's Heroes, The Dirty Dozen, The Great Escape, etc. typical on this holiday weekend.
