The school gave him a big "parrothead" sendoff. They even played JB songs on the p.a. system. :pirate:
I love this. :wench:

We just had a massive thunderstorm. The thunder and lightning have moved on but the rain is still coming down. I hope it rains the rest of the day, we really need it.

Somehow I think you’ll do a fine job!

Had the day off, did a little bit of packing and not much else. There's plenty left to do this weekend. I did call a painter and will get a quote next week after we take possession of the new house. πŸ‘

With all my painting, painting the house is a low priority.

I ran a jack hammer over 3 hours this morning to break up a sidewalk, then power washed the deck and house.

I am very tired.

Loosing 2 people this week has me emotional. "Knee Deep" was on the car radio and I started tearing a little. Later on, a quiet, reflective Buffett tune came on RM. I turned to a rock station.

Steak fajitas and beer sounds pretty good but you can keep the shrimp.

Do the hosts provide the food and beer or is it BYOB and BYOfood?

This is the bad thing about living on the east coast, the Vegas Golden Knights game just started. I'm going to have to stay up past my bedtime tonight.

Host provide food and beer and wine. Those wine drinkers however will generally bring a bottle as well.

My wife, when we built this house, wanted a wine climate controlled wine cellar which we have.

I store cases of beer, but she has enough racks for about 300 bottles (stop thinking of "Racks" Moogy). She only has maybe at best about 100 bottles. Neighbors are know storing wine bottles in there. Makes our night for Friday Happy Hour easier, as most of the wine is already here. I don't drink wine, but my beer taps are always flowing.........LOL
