Friday at the beach and it’s been ugly all day. Just left the condo for the first time and that was to walk the condos 22 flights of stairs and hallways. The 6 of us also played a murder mystery game that was in the condo buildings game room. That was a first for us during a girls beach weekend.
What beach?

Like wet carpeting in 1974 Ford Pinto
Or like wet carpet in the cat room.
I think that is only Newark, the rest of the State doesn't smell that bad.
You're right, tho I haven't driven through NJ since 1972. Most of the state was beautiful if I remember correctly.

Don't get crazy on me.....I surely wouldn't go that far.

The entire I-95 corridor of NJ is a sewer. The only thing that smells work than Newark is Trenton.

Hi there! I woke to find it raining, but all to the south. I drove an hour north into New York and spent a glorious day on Chautauqua lake.
You were very close to our daughter in Westfield, NY.

Our middle daughter has been in a short term er facility all day today. They still don't know what her issue is, but her temp is finally down and the CT scan didn't show anything, and they still aren't sure if she has kidney stones or what. But in keeping with her horrible luck in general, when she was released her car wouldn't start and AAA said it would be 5 hours before anyone would get to her. Her dad is on the way....after he had to hang up on her because she was hysterical on the phone. Smfh.

Last time in NJ was driving from KW to Rhode Island and back to KW, guess I was on the turnpike. May have been January 1973, was extremely happy to get back home to the island.

They make things called air planes, which mean you don't have to drive that ride.

I sometimes get closer. I often fish a stream that runs through Westfield.

morning...Frying some soft shell crabs for dinner tonite...be well & safe
Mmmm, soft shells. Best we ever had were baked in a ceramic thing with lemon, butter, wine, and fresh capers. "Healthier" than fried except I ate three or four because they were ridiculously good.

Navy sent me there for an 8 week school, plus I had a new Vette, wanted the roadtrip! Would never do it now.
