I've been researching my family roots and got a notice today that a relative had posted a family photo. I didn't recognize the relative or the name, so I clicked the "How is this person related to me?" button and was told "this person is your 6th great aunt's brother's wife's second great niece's husband's third great niece." A "distant relative" I'd say....

That sounds about right.
I was digging deep for awhile but haven't looked recently.

Good you made it to Ringville, John. I have a dozen mini paintings as door prizes waiting for the next Parrotfest. I stopped and looked at some while in the storage closet.

We had pizza for lunch and will go out for ice cream later.

Today is the farthest that I have traveled from home since this crap hit the fan in March last year....feels good to be getting out there again........not to say that I won't be visiting my favorite hotel / casino later this week. .....

The Godfather was on TV yesterday, I drank a Godfather lager while I was watching it. Too bad Godfather lager is brewed by Devans Modern Breweries in India.

The sky got really dark about 45 minutes ago and it just started raining. It's coming down in buckets. I'm glad I didn't go to the Pelicans game tonight, that wouldn't have been a very nice ride home from the ballpark.

Sooo, pretty tired after spending 3 hours in the ER with Cameron today. Abscess behind a tonsil. Tried to drain it, and it wouldn't. IV of saline, antibiotic, steroid. Blood work. CT scan of his neck. Those IV's finally helped when he got home, and the swelling went down so he could eat some mashed potatoes, apple sauce, and chicken broth. Could NOT swallow this morning.

Off to bed - stupid Payroll Monday tomorrow and then I have to cover the front desk when I'm done.
