What a shemozzle!

We got *most* of our furniture yesterday. I cannot believe the bunfight. Stuff meant for storage came to the house where we simply do not have the room, I think stuff has gone to storage that should be at the house, including the coffee machine.

Mislabelled or unlabelled boxes everywhere.

Too many broken items to list.

Can't actually move around the house for the piles of boxes. The cats, however, are having a great time - so many nooks and crannies to explore.

You can always get some instant coffee.
My BIL moved from Germany to Fort Knox. He and his wife took a break from unpacking and went to a big flea market where he saw antique metal toys on display. He realized they were his! The mover saw the box marked metal toys, hid it and marked it as delivered. He then sold it to the dealer. My BIL got almost everything back.

Instant coffee? Blerk [smilie=puking.gif]

As time goes on, I am more and more convinced that the removals industry needs to be completely regulated, with homeowners having the right to shoot them at the first indiscretion :)

Still operating with out a full kitchen. No stove, sink, counters and cabinets. I do have a grill, a microwave/convection oven, electric griddle and crock pot. Washing dishes in the bathroom sink stinks!

Our movers were really great. But we were present every step of the way.

Haven't been to work since day before Jones Beach show.

What's a bunfight?
When 2 bottomless people face back to back and slap their cheeks in unison.
