Good morning.

The start of the Pelicans game was delayed an hour because of rain but they got the full game in. The Pelicans won again, too bad it took them so long to start playing like this. They're in 2nd place in their division but they're 20 games behind the 1st place team and there are only 17 games left in the season. No playoffs this year.

I heard the MTA shut the entire NYC subway system down because stations were flooded. When I lived there I can remember some individual subway lines being shut down for various reasons, but never the entire system.

I can't imagine that much water. Rarely happens around here. There can be some torrential rains in the mountains, and they travel downhill and can cause bigtime flooding, but it's not often.

E and I had a very stupid drive to work this morning - a car came from the far left lane all the way across 4 lanes to get to the right lane to take an exit. He ended up clipping 4-5 other cars, and traffic came to a dead stop almost faster than E could stop, and the banged up car was one car in front of us. Fun Fun.

Oh my they found three people floating in a back yard in Queens NY. So far 17 deaths.

Denver has had nearly 12" of precipitation - but since January.
