Good afternoon Penny, and anyone else who may stop by.
I had an appointment to donate platelets at the Red Cross this morning and it was a beautiful day when I left home. By time I was finished it was overcast and looked like it would rain any minute. No rain yet but it's still pretty overcast.
Good afternoon Gang! Big Rain just hit for about 5 minutes. All good now. Of course lawn mowing plans for tonight have been ruined. Damn!!
Waiting anxiously for the review of the "Monderosa" bar from those traversing the Alaskan wilderness.
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
Good evening. Brother Chris and I took Mom to Gettysburg battlefield today. We visited the farmhouse of Jacob Swisher, which was
used as a field hospital during the battle. Jacob Swisher was our mom's great, great, great grandfather. He had two sons that
fought in the civil war. One was Charles Swisher, our mom's great, great, grandfather, who served at Gettysburg. She really enjoyed
connecting with her family history.
Hi there! I had a beautiful day in my boat with some good fishing as well. Anne is busy at a funeral dinner, so it's a chicken salad sammich ,chips and queso for my supper.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
Two beers cost me $9.00 at that place, but it was worth the stop.
I was about 30 miles south of the entrance to Denali when I decided to get some fuel. Cost of gas was $4.75 a gallon. I put the fuel nozzle in (while snow was coming down sideways) and began filling to notice it was one of those pumps that goes super slow. I went into the store, hit the bathroom and purchased a gator aide to come out to find that it still was only at 3 gallons filled. That little extra however was what I needed to get me to Fairbanks.

Just a quick correction in the Gettysburg story. I had one too many "greats" in each of the lineage descriptions.
Charles Swisher was Mom's great grandfather so Jacob was her great, great grandfather. Just want to get it
accurate,
