Good morning Ken and Penny. The Hurricanes beat the Golden Knights 4-2 last night. Except for about 5 minutes early in the 2nd period Carolina totally dominated the game.

Carolina has a player named Ethan Bear, he's a Cree Indian from Canada. Earlier this season the Hurricanes announcer said when Bear played for Edmonton last year he had his name on his jersey in Cree symbols for one game instead of English and they showed a picture of him holding up the jersey. There was a fan at last night's game wearing an Ethan Bear jersey with the Cree symbols on it.

He was in front of me in line waiting to go into the arena. I asked him if the Hurricanes were selling them, not that I want to buy one, I was just curious. He said he had it specially made. He's Canadian but he's been a Hurricanes fan going back to their days as the Hartford Whalers in the 1980s and '90s.

I'm in the food court in the Flamingo having a cup of coffee. They're playing music over the P.A. system. A Paul Revere & The Raiders song just came on. :o

One of my favorite bar tenders in Vegas works at the Flamingo. His name is Paul and is sort of a larger guy. Works the bar in the front part of the casino. I haven't been there since March of 2019. If you see him, tell him Paul from Florida said hello.....he will know who you are talking about.

I'm staying at the Flamingo but I haven't been anywhere there except the food court to get a cup of coffee. I got here about 5:30 Sunday and I haven't even been to Margaritaville.

I left work today at 1:30 and am working from home the rest of today.

Yesterday when I got into Chambers my thermostat said 70. By noon it was 83; Judge had several discussions with facilities and we were told it was a "power source issue". The contractor needed a part from a warehouse 1 hour away and wondered if it could wait until Wednesday. He was told "no - we've got an angry judge". They headed out at 2 and we were told it would be fixed by the end of the day (this was still yesterday).

When I got to Chambers this morning my thermostat said 77. Yea, I don't think it's fixed yet but at least it wasn't 83 :)

With my cough and that super hot, dry air blowing down around my desk from the ceiling vents it was making my throat so horribly sore and my cough worse that I bailed.

Gonna get myself in trouble with this, but....

That front bar at the Flamingo is night is LOADED with hookers at night. I love watching the interaction. They should have a cover charge to watch this sometimes. It is actually very entertaining to watch. LOL

Next past the Linq, which i have been to the bar with the zillion beers (The Linq is the old Imperial Palace) is Harrah's. Ruth's Chris Steak House. Need to take the elevator in the front portion of the casino to get up there.

As I read this, I thought of Art, from Night Court  .
I quit wearing ties because my new art room was 80 plus degrees in winter.

Reminds me of Wahoo McDaniel. He was a native American football player in the AFL that wore the name "WAHOO" on his jersey.
He was also a professional wrestler. :pirate:
