Good Morning Gang!
Welcome to yet another edition of a Freaky Friday here at BN.
No question the tone of the social area here last night ended on a freaky (albeit) fun note spearheaded as usual by Michiphin.
Let's have another fun day gang! Enjoy
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!
Good morning Ken, Linda and Bill. Just got home a little while ago and I think I'm going to wait until tomorrow to do laundry, I'm exhausted.
When I go to Vegas, I keep my gambling money separate from my spending money. If I lose all my gambling money, I stop. I counted it when I got home, I won $184.93 and the only gambling I did was playing the penny slot machines. I don't think I've ever won more than about $25-$30 in Vegas.
Waiting for the grands to get here this afternoon. Gonna make a Dump cake and homemade dinner rolls to go with the bsketti n meatballs for dinner tonight. Happy Phriday everyone!

Quality return on investment there!
Speaking to the Freaky Friday topic, I realize Vegas in itself is normally pretty freaky but can you speak to the freakiest thing you witnessed while there this year?

I really didn't see anything too strange this year. The usual stuff - guys dressed like super heroes trying to get people to pay them for a picture, women dressed as either slutty cops or showgirls (complete with the feathered headdress) also trying to get money for pictures. When I walked by one of the "showgirls" she said "are you ready for your picture, handsome?" I asked how much she was going to give me if I let her take a picture with me, she wasn't amused.

I knew I forgot something. The resident entertainers in the Flamingo's theater used to be Donny & Marie. Now they have RuPaul's Drag Race.
I think Donny and Marie moved next door to Harrah's.
RuPaul.......can't help but to think of the evening with the BN Crew done at the San Remo with all the trannies......I think the only one who had photos from that night was Karin.

What also killed me was downtown. They have a circle on the ground which those people need to say within. Mostly near naked girls, etc...but there is a fat guy wearing nothing but a diaper trying to get people take pictures with him.

My 15 year old at the time Grandson & I did an out west roadtrip 2 years ago that encompassed flying into Denver, then traversing our way through Colorado, into Utah, down to Arizona before ending up in Vegas for the flight home. Made a quick run from hotel near airport onto the strip to give him a "glimpse" of it the night before we flew out. Of course while there we encountered the aforementioned "showgirls". I'm sure he's got that one in his memory bank

Had to limp the ute 50km to the mechanic the day before yesterday. Temp was off the scale. It's 7 years old with only 38,000km on the odo.
Apparently a well known issue - the solution?
Replace the engine!
Happily Mitsubishi have agreed to provide the new donk under "good will".
Ouch! I had a truck with a bad universal under 20,00 miles. The dealer claimed it was out of warranty when it wasn't. I had to file a complaint with Ford to have it fixed.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.
Much better work day than I've had all week. Officially off until 11/29 but I will probably still check out a few emails and maybe even a call or two. And the keet is coming on Sunday for the whole week so that makes my heart sing.
Happy weekend, y'all.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...
Still fighting with a cold. I’m on my 2nd hot toddy. Thanks Kevin……my cold feels better. Well, actually my cold is losing the fight right now. I feel better.
