Although I dislike (more like despise) Chocolate -- I will share this news with all of you.

TODAY IS NATIONAL BROWNIE DAY

Each year on December 8th, brownie lovers across the nation enjoy one of their favorite baked goods on National Brownie Day.

In the United States, the chocolate brownie is a favorite, with the blonde brownie running a close second. A blonde brownie is made with brown sugar and no chocolate and is often called a blondie.

Meanwhile - at the courthouse - Chambers #5 is in day 3 of a 5 day criminal jury trial. The guy has 5 docket #s adding up to double-digit charges - the worst of which is Drug Delivery Resulting in Death

Good Morning!! My sister was a Brownie..(get it?)
Growing up in our household my mom baked fudge, but never so much brownies so they weren't a thing for me.
After I married, my Mother-in-law was a brownie baker & always made a batch for us (my wife was a brownie during the holidays fanatic). I attained a taste for them, but fortunately they didn't last too long around the house with the kids & her nibbling on em.

Hope everyone enjoys their hump day. Only 4 of them left in 2021..........

Love brownies, but don't bake them often - and they're always from a box.

My Mom made the best fudge, and I think I have her recipe. Might have to try that sometime.

My sister made it home, but haven't heard anything more from her. I told her to make a list of anything they might need, and I'll go shopping for it. I can get into their garage and leave it there, so as to not bother them and the dog.

Hoping for a quiet work day to get stuff done.

Sooo, I left work early to stop over at my sister's house. Her texts were taking on a panicked tone - I got there and yeah, she looked lousy. Sounded that way, too. But I think she's worrying so much about things in life (work, bills, etc) that's it's affected her ability to get well. My BIL has a HORRIBLE cough, but I've heard worse. I cleaned a few things up, asked if they needed anything, and they really didn't. Neighbors/friends have been keeping an eye on them. But I feel better about seeing them, and how they really are, rather than going off of texts she's sending.
