Winds have died down here to just a little breezy. Yesterday there were gusts tornado/hurricane force. LOTS of older/big trees knocked over falling on houses and cars.












Luckily, nothing happened to either of us, or our home. Lots of friends were affected, tho. Power is still out for thousands of people.

Nice winds here today, 10 Knots and mid 70's. I'm aboard CILCIA out in Pensacola Bay listening to CILCIA and enjoying a rum. Not bad for mid December.

Last real day of work for me today, as i just have to drive home tomorrow. Just finished up here Dothan, AL and stopped for a cold one. Meeting up with an old friend for a few as well.

It's been very busy at the shop. I worked half a day today then went to my annual eye appointment. I am going to have to get new glasses
I came home and spruced up the house, swept up the dog hair and mopped.
The oldest daughter and SIL and grandbabies are coming tomorrow! Our family party is this Saturday. We'll drop the big dogs off at the kennel on our way to the hotel Saturday morning. Bryan and I are hosting the "hospitality" suite again this year. We'll have a buffet lunch then cocktail hour and family pictures will be taken before dinner. We'll spend the night and have breakfast before we pick up the dogs and then head home for a family dinner with all 3 of our girls and the 6 grands. We'll open presents and get to meet our middle daughter's new Beau!
Bryan and I are taking Monday off and the oldest and her family will leave on Tuesday morning.
We're so excited to be able to get together this year... last year was the first time we had to cancel.
I'm as ready as I'm going to be. Everything is wrapped, baking and cheese balls are done. Tomorrow morning I'll make banana bread and a coffee cake and dinner for tomorrow night.
My new house is much smaller but my heart is full.

Although my day wasn't as busy as Tammy's, ran a few errands this morning & then went to my cousin's to help her & my aunt make chocolate covered peanut butter balls.
268 of them!! Of course that's not counting those that we snacked on during the process If y'all want some, come on by. They will be given to co-workers, our Dr's offices, friends, etc.
Once again Penny, your windy weather made news here. Really glad to hear you guys are ok! How's your sister, BIL & Cameron doing?
