BIG 3-0 Thursday @ the MSC

Post by Saltx3 »

Good Morning BN.

I was working from home yesterday and at the end of the day received an email from the Judicial HR person linking the new CDC regs/guidelines and saying the President Judge authorized the "release of the information".....well, goodie for him. Not sure why that was a big deal, except he still has the Courthouse under a mandatory mask mandate. The closing line of the email said "the County has not yet updated it's policy but it is expected in the near future"........

Morning Linda, Bill, Deb & BN.

Haven't seen the sun most of the week & it's been raining off & on most days but it's been high 50's to low 60's so I will not complain!
Gotta run to the store soon. Making homemade sauce for chicken alfredo. I'll add peas to it as well. But first, coffee!

Happy Thursday y'all!

  Good Morning! To be honest, happy that BuffettNews humor finds its way into so many of our threads, purposely or not purposely.
So many tough stories & circumstances that have affected our BN family this year :( .....In order to cope humor is indeed often the best medicine.

Tonight a New Years Eve/Eve country concert at the Casino up the road, featuring the bands Lonestar & Sawyer Brown. I've seen Lonestar & know their work but I have no knowledge about Sawyer Brown other than knowing Of them. Me & Lynn Not being casino gamblers I'm not anticipating dropping any money there :o
Good day to all Gang!

I kept a container of gum in a tool basket that was in the boat. I brought the gum into the house since winterizing the boat. It made me think of a parody.

Boat gum

the boy in the stern wanted boat gum

It's kept in a bin and he wants some

I can't seem to finish this song.

Good morning, BN! :) Good morning Linda, Andrea, Deb.

Hope you and Lynn have a good time, Ken. :)

Bill? Stick to fishing and painting, K?

Hope Mrs. Michi doesn't feel worse today. :(

((((Molly and Larry)))) I'm so very sorry. :(

Ron and I both have colds. Yep, just your ordinary cold. But it still sucks. I'm at work, he scheduled the day off weeks ago. If I had called in sick, I would have lost tomorrow's holiday pay. :-?

Got a call from the doctors office yesterday and they forgot to order one of the tests at the lab, so I need to make yet another trip to get stuck.
Bryan and I are off today so we went to order my new glasses and now we're on our way to the lab. Yay🙄 it's over an hour away. Grrr. Just another reason to look for a new PCP closer to home since mine has left the practice.
But at least I get to spend the day with Bryan! We're just running errands, but it's nice to have the time together.
Just got another call from the doctors office and they think the reason for my ongoing anemia is an extremely low level of B12. Much better than the other reasons she tested for that could have sent me to a hemotologist. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Good morning BN. Still fighting a head cold, though it has eased up a little. Gonna try again tomorrow for the Christmas visit with the stepdaughter in north Georgia. At least it won't be cold.

Good morning.

Did anybody have trouble finding candy canes this year? The supermarket where I shop usually sells them but they didn't have any. There's a huge candy store in town called It's Sugar, they had them last year but not this year. I didn't drive all over looking for them because I'm not a candy cane addict but it would have been nice to have some to munch on for Christmas.

I looked when I was out and about, but couldn't find any either. I just usually hang them on the tree for the grandkids to eat.

South Carolina is playing North Carolina in the Duke's Mayo Bowl. Instead of Gatorade, the winning coach gets a tub of mayo dumped on him. South Carolina's coach said he wasn't a big fan of mayo but if they win he'll take one for the team. North Carolina's coach said if they win they can hit him in the face with a frying pan.

Last night at the Cheez-It Bowl in Orlando they dumped the normal Gatorade container of Cheez-Its on winning coach Dabo.
The assistant coach got the messier normal version of the "dump". :pirate:

I saw that. I think the announcer said the assistant coach was retiring, that's why he got the Gatorade.

Earlier this month at the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl in Boise, the winning coach had a big Gatorade container of french fries dumped on him.
