We had the exact same thing yesterday morning Bill. Hate to say it but I very much did enjoy the sparkling diamonds look... as I drove down the road in my heated car!! The minute I got back outta the car I started cussin about the cold again

Good morning. No rain or snow on the coast of Carolina but it was 30 degrees when I woke up. It's an almost tropical 39 now.

When I was in Total Wine yesterday cruising the beer aisle, I saw a beer called Gavel Slammer from Hoppin' Frog Brewing in Akron, OH. It comes in an 8 1/2 oz. can instead of 12 or 16 oz. and it's $9. For 1 can. It's also 17.4% ABV. I passed.

The sun reflecting off the snow and lack of wind made it feel almost warm out. Took along a big churchill cigar.

Walter White's brother-in-law Hank, the DEA agent, brewed beer in his garage on Breaking Bad. The character's name was Hank Schrader and his beer was Schrader Brau.

Day began really cold here as well, as in the low 40's around 7:45 AM for a tee time. By noon however, the "Real Feel" was pushing 70 degrees, and beers were enjoyed on the bar patio at the Golf Club......Can't ask for much more than that for early January. Another 5 weeks and we will start looking at the upside of this winter crap.

We are currently going through breaking bad for the 2nd time. Amazing how 3 yrs later we both say “do you remember this part”? ALOT

Mr. Lime just picked the dog from the boarder and he (the dog) is thankfully pooped from three days romping around and especially from all the snow. Now we're in for the night, dinner is tortellini with sausage bolognese.
