Stop By SUNDAY@ the MSC
Good morning BN. We had freezing rain, so not much travelling today.
If I wasn't fishing in this all day rain,I'd be home doing something stupid.

Good morning Bill. The last 2 days the temperature didn't get out of the 40s but it's supposed to be 70 degrees today. Then tomorrow and Tuesday will be 15-20 degrees cooler and the overnight low both days will be in the 20s.

Rainy and dreary day here today. I'm staying home and doing laundry. That's all I got for now.
Just texted with my daughter who has been fighting Covid and she's been fever free for a couple of days but still congested, achy and has a dry cough
. Her BF took her some supplies yesterday so we don't need to make a porch drop off today.

Hello everyone
It doesn’t appear that we got the ice storm forecasted since the sidewalk, driveway and cars do not show any evidence.
In person church was cancelled so we will soon be tuning in via YouTube. Other than that we’ve got nothing going on today and that’s ok by me.

Crazy wind and sleet today. Another good one to stay inside, we'll finish taking down the inside decorations. Outside lights will have to wait to come down, not going out there in this mess.

I removed our outside lights the one day we hit 45 even though it was a little earlier than usual for me to do so.lime rickie wrote: ↑January 9, 2022 10:19 am Crazy wind and sleet today. We've been getting that freezing rain for the last few hours. Mom told us to not come by today because of road conditions.
The guy I gave hell to a few weeks ago was one of the first to have his sidewalk cleared off after the recent snow storm.
I guess what I said sank in.

Afternoon BNers
It stormed most of the night and looks like it could start again any time. It is 70°!!! Yeah.
Ryan is enjoying the ice cream machine. So far he made vanilla, Creamsicle, peanut butter with extract, peanut butter made with real peanut butter and chopped m&ms and mocha. The m&m is the best!!

It was a beautiful day for a stroll in the park. According to the pedometer app on my phone I walked 3.27 miles and burned 319 calories. Now I'm going to ruin all that and have a beer.

The Jacksonville Jaguars and Detroit Lions, the 2 worst teams in the NFL, both won today. You could have made a lot of money in Las Vegas betting on those 2 teams today.

Of course, for Detroit, it reduces their chances for a First Round Draft Pick.
Fitting. Trust me, and if you wish more information, please let me know. The Detroit Lions are in an almost 20 year "Rebuilding Season" and have and some Hall of Fame Coaches who have left. As long as the Ford Motor Company family owns them, the will lose but be profitable to the family. Let me know if you need more info............LOL.................Go Blue and Silver today, you won but cost yourself in the draft, which they would have screwed that up in as well, just like in 2019 with the top choice...............how did that work out for you........LOL

We’ve made a creamsicle moonshine here at the 5 o’clock distillery. Our best to date.melon59 wrote: ↑January 9, 2022 3:56 pmIll take some Creamsicle!springparrot wrote: ↑January 9, 2022 2:26 pm Afternoon BNers

Some of you may recall a story I told you about a double-amputee high school wrestler. His grandparents live across the
street from us. He placed 5th in the state championship meet 2 years ago and placed third in districts last year. He wrestles
against able bodied athletes in a state where high school and college wrestling is VERY competitive. On Tuesday he earned
his 100th career victory. He is only the 5th in the history of his high school to do so. Congratulations Devon Jackson!
