Good Morning everyone!

No beef or beans here...just jello, italian ice and my mixed drink (gatorade and miralax).

Kevin changed his mind on the bourbon road trip to Maryland. He's watching the Beatles documentary for the 4th time.

I will soon head to Lowes for paint supplies for the ceiling and bathroom wall. Hopefully it will meet Bodypainter's expectations when he arrives in April for Parrotfest :)

Then to the gym.

In PA we're playing "where's the monkey?". A pickup truck and trailer containing 100 live monkeys bound for a
research lab collided with a dump truck near Danville, PA on route 54. 4 monkeys escaped. 3 were caught and 1 is still
at large. You can't make this stuff up. Bet that poor monkey froze his butt off last night.

Good Morning BN!

There's snow on the ground, but it's a lot warmer here than it was in Fargo! 8)

Good morning. It was 28 degrees when I woke up, it's all the way up to 29 now. I haven't been outside yet but from looking out the windows, it looks like we got a dusting of snow overnight.

I heard former NY Islander Clark Gillies died last night. When they won 4 straight Stanley Cups from 1980-83, he was one of the best players on the team. There was an interesting fact in the article I read about him. Hockey teams have 20 man rosters. Gillies was one of 17 players who were on all 4 of the Stanley Cup winning teams. The NHL didn't have a salary cap back then. That would never happen today, if teams pay their star players a lot of money they can't afford to keep all the role players on the team, they have to keep rotating new players in every year.

Good morning. We had -17 and no cold water in the bathroom sink. I have to defrost a pipe in the basement. I have no problems in 35 years with colder temps. Hurry up spring!

I would run too if I was heading for a confined lab.

Aloha, peeps. 8)

Sunny but still single digits so indoor chores were the order of the day. Settling in now for playoffs and dinner, blackened tuna steaks and caesar salad. [smilie=yum.gif]

Sad whatever happens, lab experiment v. freeze to death v. some predator grabs him.

Hi there! The cold water side in the sink opened up without me. We road tripped to a nice place where I was going to meet Michi. They had an extensive beer list, but I went no further than the special, 2$ Yuengling all day, every day. Food was good too.

Afternoon...almost Evening BNers

Guess I forgot to check in.

It is a toasty 39° but sunny. At least the wind isn't gusting.

Have a load of white clothes in the washer. Just don't wear white Ts as much as colors, so they mount up.

We're back in the deep freeze that is Ohio. We're unpacked and getting settled in with the big dogs.
SIL is feeling better and is considering returning to work tomorrow... although his wife is trying to get him to take one more day since we are expecting more snow starting overnight until around 4:00 tomorrow.
I made a short grocery list and Bryan is going to pick up some stuff and bring home subs for dinner.
Tomorrow will be spent doing laundry, making 2 pans of lasagna (1 for the freezer) garlic salad and rolls for dinner. (I've been craving lasagna)

Tipping down here.

Our forecast district is one of several under a flood watch. We haven't had enough rain yet for that but places 20 or 30 miles away have had their yearly rain in the last few days. (The Barossa Valley is quite a dry place, with the state capital - Adelaide - the driest of all state capitals).

Since we haven't had a lot of rain lately I have had to clean out the screens on the tanks a couple of times as they have blocked up. Hopefully, the gunk in the gutters and pipes has now flushed through and I don't have to going back out in the rain to check then again.

Of course with the rain has come the humidity. Around here houses are fitted with ducted evaporative coolers - And, of course, these only work well in low humidity. Happily we both don't mind the humidity so much, given our (once upon a time) regular trips to the South Pacific.

We always make two at a time, the extra is for the keet, the freezer, whatever upcoming funeral, potluck, etc.

Rabz, no doubt you are missing Vanuatu? Was just saying to Mr. Lime that we are long overdue for a tropical vacation, it's been a few years. Hoping for something in autumn (Sept/Oct) but between covid and planning around chemo/surgery it's hard to plan too far ahead.

Our day will come again. :wench:
