Well, we pulled the plug on Jamaica about midnight. We have been changing our minds over a week. Finally Larry hit the cancel button on the airlines.
Neither of us are healthy enough to be leaving the country. As disappointed as we are, this just feels right.
Of course since we were getting ready to leave for the airport, now we can unpack.
Everyone have a great Sunday.
Morning, peeps. We ended up with 20 inches of snow. Street crews have done a great job keeping up with it all and everything looks beautiful, sparkling in the sun.
Bummer about your trip, Molly. Jamaica will still be there when you do feel ready.
You only have two options - havin' fun or freakin' out...
Good morning. Sorry about the cancelled trip Molly.
It snowed Friday night and early Saturday morning and the temperature didn't make it out of the 30s yesterday. It was 24 degrees when I woke up this morning. It's supposed to be 65-70 degrees Wednesday and Thursday. Is Mother Nature's name Sybil?

Good Morning BN’ers!!
Sorry to hear Jamaica off the table Molly. Hopefully you’ll be feeling better down the line & Vacay can get back on line!
Sitting at a urgent care office as brother needs a pre procedure Covid test. Got here just before they opened the doors. Hopefully wait won’t be too long. Looks like only a few folks ahead of us.
Enjoy your 30th day of January gang!
Corona by day, Corona by night, any old time is just alright!

A chilly 42 out currently, heading up to 64 then pushing 70 again tomorrow. Hopefully this is the end of winter.
Was 30 up here this morning, glad we're getting some relief this week.
Thanks everyone. It was a difficult decision that we agonized over for days. Yes. Jamaica will still be there but Little Feat on the beach might not. Hoping to go to Nashville to catch up with friends. Won't be a beach but will be the Ryman.
Sorry to hear about your cancelled trip Molly. you know what’s best for you and yours.
We were in between the south and north blasts of snow and managed with less than an inch.
Back to work tomorrow. Will spend a lot of time bringing the judge up to speed on his 121 cases from Friday’s “call of the criminal trial list”. I don’t anticipate this being much fun as I pass on the excuses voiced in the courtroom….
(Playing over and over in my brain “one more day closer to retirement”)
