Good Morning BN'ers!
With that other SB event taking place tomorrow, I'll lead todays thread off with an ode to Soups.
Sad to say I was never the cook in the family & the only soup I prepare is the Sacred Heart Diet Soup  but the ladies in my life (mom & wife) always whipped up an excellent Bean soup to my liking.
Now when it's comes to a restaurant prepared soup I'm a huge fan of New England Clam Chowder. [smilie=nod.gif]
What ya got from the World of Soup gang....FYI Larry, it's not next door to the World of Beer, but you would've already known that

Good morning Ken and BN! :)

I love soups, but I mostly like the broth from each of them, rather than the other stuff that's in it. Weird, I know.

Beer cheese soup, mulligatawny soup, peanut butter soup, (both of these my mom made SO well), French onion soup, chicken noodle (including the can and box stuff), and good 'ol canned tomato soup.

Waiting for the apartments to shovel/clean the parking lot so we can go to the store. Then some more laundry. And dinner out/DU hockey tonight. :)

Good morning, Penny and Ken. I enjoy some soups more than others, mostly Clam chowder, stuffed pepper and jambalaya.

Good morning. I'm a lousy cook so I don't make my own soup, I open a can of Progresso instead. When I go to Las Vegas and go to the Yard House, I always have their chicken tortilla soup. Speaking of chicken tortilla soup, I saw a Chik-fil-a commercial the other day about their chicken tortilla soup. The woman on the commercial said something about "when I take a bite." How do you bite something that's liquid?

Mission BBQ is next door to World Of Beer. At least the one here, I don't remember what was next door to the one in Augusta, GA.

I had a couple of servings of Clam Chowder last week on our trip to Florida, the better of the two was at Pincher's - delicious!

The best clam chowder that I've had was at Captain Curt's on Siesta Key.

Afternoon BNers

A BNer posted a recipe for Chicken Tortilla soup. I'm thinking it was ((((Z)))).
The recipe is easy and tasty.
😁
With this cold front, we might be time for another batch.
50 but feels like 45 with lots of gusty wind.

Saturday fly-by.

Love all kinds of soup, just lately have had homemade (by Mr. Lime, not by me) cheeseburger soup, onion soup, black bean soup, and fantastic cioppino, which is an Italian seafood soup/stew.

Last day of warm temps, almost felt like spring. All the chores are done, we're getting ready for happy hour and probably just watch some Olympics.

Happy weekend, y'all! :wench:

I went to the park for my walk, brought my iPod with me so I could listen to some tunes and I left the earbuds home. What a doofus. [smilie=graytard.gif]

I'm home for a little bit...we are meeting the youngest daughter at our local Mexican restaurant for dinner.
We weren't ad busy as we were expecting today at the shop, but we're going to be getting everything done tomorrow for delivery on Monday. I have to be at work at 8:00 in the morning.
Right now I'm having a margarita!

No, I haven't been going to the state park too often lately. The park I go to now doesn't have much worth taking pictures of so I don't bother bringing my camera with me.

Update on a beer label called 83 that I drew. It's a caricature of louis Lipps, a Steeler and friend of the brewery owner. He was arrested for DUI and has to do rehab. I doubt my caricature will be used.

The Hurricanes are playing in Minnesota tonight. The announcer said it was -8 degrees. :o
