I have a great MIL. No kidding.


it is my own mother than I learned a whole bunch about since my father passed away 15 years ago which is the issue. And then to bring my wife into the equation with her own set of issues, not a good mix in the blender.

Ouch! I'm glad to be out of old people.

Oh Geez..............LONG story...........I know it is not nice to say, but she is not a nice person.

Kevin decided to invite his mom for dinner. It was to be pork tenderloin with some veggies. Then we invited daughter and son in law to stop by. They offered to bring pizza. Pork tenderloin will be tomorrows dinner. . My mother-in-law will find out about the menu change when she gets here. I predict major whining which may cause me to do some of my own wine-ing.

My goodness. Do I understand that BIG TIME!!!.....just that it is MY mother and she drives my wife insane !!!!

I can hear my mother right now, "I didn't know that we were JUST having pizza".....

“Oh, pizza ??? “I thought you said we were having steak. No mom, I said pork tenderloin but there’s not enough for 5 people, so the kids offered to pickup pizza”.

Kevin is truly grateful he has never had to deal with a mother-in-law. Well, expect for some sporadic contact over our 38.5 yr marriage. And by sporadic I mean once every 10 yrs or so……That little bit of crazy was plenty. (I was raised in foster care from age 3-17 and had no contact with my mother until I was 23 and tracked her down for our wedding.). Found out at age 42 that I have a half-sister (1 of my mothers 10 siblings spilled the beans]. Yea, I’m gonna write a book.

Funny you should mention Poor Kelly......she was actually planning to go over to visit mom but then we gave the "steak dinner" invite so she told Kelly she didn't need to visit
