My middle daughter and grandpugs are gone. I'm trying really hard to not let my feelings be hurt but it's hard when you hug your kid when she's leaving and lean in to give her a kiss on the cheek and she recoils and says, yeah I just don't want a kiss, sorry.

I don't ever remember either of my other daughter's ever saying anything like that to me. Especially as adults...😭
I wouldn't take it personally. Maybe she was just in a "mood".
