The pups need a bath so that will be done this morning after coffee. No plans this afternoon but whatever I do it will be outside in the sun. Gotta get started on my summer tan

Good morning. It's a nice sunny day and it's supposed to be in the 70s again but it's only 58 degrees right now. I'm going to assume the weather guessers guessed right and wear shorts instead of jeans.

Sitting here typing in the pre-dawn moonlight.

I have always lived in reasonably hilly suburban areas, but since we moved to this area with its wide spaces and big skies, the brightness of the full moon is astonishing and even a little annoying.

One of the cats is quite perturbed by all the light and patrols the windows all night.

Off to do our civic duty and vote in the state elections today - not sure why (apart from avoiding the fine for not voting) all of the candidates combined are not worth a pinch of dried dingo's kidney. We don't even have a looney weirdo candidate to vote for! What to do? What to do?

Good afternoon. I'm sipping a frosty beverage at the Beer Den, they're having a tap takeover. I'm on my 2nd of 4, all IPAs. I'm a little disappointed. The brewer is Charles Towne Fermentory from Charleston. The last time I went to one of their tap takeovers, one of their employees was there. He gave me his business card, his name was Cornbread and his job title was Smooth Hoperater but he isn't here today.
