It's still 'early' here.


Busy day ahead - got to get everything caught up and ready for me leave it for a few weeks.. And everything is coming up that didn't need to happen TODAY!

Busy weekend - most of it doing laundry and getting hospital suitcase ready - for hopefully just two nights.

Good morning. It was 44 degrees when I woke up and it's still only in the 50s.

The Sopranos prequel The Many Saints Of Newark was on HBO Saturday night. I was watching Breaking Bad so I DVR'd it and watched it yesterday. What a bad movie, 2 hours of my life I'll never get back.

Been raining most of the night and we could get 4-6 inches today. Anyone know how to swim????

Stressful day in the office.....taking lap top out on the back patio and hitting one of the taps....

Back into isolation waiting for (yet another) COVID test result.

Mrs Rabz has a snotty nose and a slightly elevated temperature, so off we go to get the base of our brains scrapped. Sigh.

If the truth be told I'll bet this is hayfever. If you weren't aware we are essentially surrounded by vineyards and broadacre farms. It is currently vintage here in the Barossa Valley so the grape harvesting is in full swing every night. As you can imagine, apart from the sound of the machines, there is a fair amount of dust, bugs and other assorted debris being raised.

It is also a few weeks past harvest for most of the broadacre stuff, so they are busily fertilising and preparing for the winter season. Again more agricultural dust in the air.

Yet things like this make it worthwhile:

It was just announced that school is starting 2 hours late tomorrow. Guess everyone will have 2 hrs longer to swim to achool?

I have swam up to a bar before, what's the big deal?

I had a wonderful day on water. I'm burnt for the first time this year. I came home to ribs and salad. Life is good.
