Late night flight yesterday was cancelled due to the storms in the south. Rented one of those Mini-Suites in the ATL airport. Those are really nice and would recommend if in that situation rather than going to a hotel. Saved me all kinds of time and actually got 7 hours of sleep.

Good morning, Linda and Michi. I never slept in an airport suite, but I did close my eyes in a terminal chair.

It's 57 degrees out as we speak here in the Great Lake State! And I think the wind is cranking at about 57 MPH as well.
Hope everyone's final day of March is a good one.

Thankfully slow day in chambers 5.

Tomorrow is April Fools Day and I suspect there will be a lot of attempts at foolery as we deal with “only” 68 criminal cases.

I say only because next Thursday there’s a session with 178 cases.

Good morning. It's supposed to be 78 degrees today but there's an 80% chance of rain and a high wind advisory, 25-30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. The worst of it is supposed to be from noon to 3:00. I have an appointment to bring my car in for service at 1:00. The trip to the dealership, then back home should be fun.

There was a hockey game on TV last night, the NY Rangers played the Detroit Red Wings. The announcer said one of Detroit's players recently played his 1000th game and he has 2 older brothers who have also played more than 1000 games in the NHL. There's a 4th brother who didn't quite make it to 1000 games, his NHL career was 2 games long.

Good morning BN. Rough night last night, zero sleep. Severe storm system rolled through with many tornado warnings, fortunately no damage here but lots of leaves and branches littering the neighborhood. Of course it started after midnight so we had to stay up listening to the weather radio blasting warnings for several hours.

When I brought my car in, they told me up front how much it would cost. When they were done, it was less than they had said so I didn't bother checking the itemized bill until I got home. They gave me credit for two $20.00 coupons, which I didn't have.

How long is the grace period between enjoying the openings and being inudated with tourists?

Our tourist season is somewhat backwards to the rest of Florida. We are just in the beginning. We are the number 1 drive to destination area in the state. It was packed at 4:30 with tourist asking stupid questions at the bar.

Just had a horrific rain thunder and wind storm. The trifecta.

Healing is slow going, but I did get in a fairly good walk in this afternoon. Weather was beautiful.

I've 10 lbs so far, so there is that.

It's so boring watching TV, even shows I like. And I just can't get comfortable on the couch or on the bed.

Got a nice text from my boss, asking if she could send meals over, or anything, which is so much nicer than my last boss. I also got a card in the mail yesterday signed by a bunch of the staff.

The Avalanche are playing, drugs have been taken, hopefully some sleep soon. Hugs and goodnight.
