I’m sitting in the surgeons parking lot while Kevin has his 2nd X-ray guided back steroid injection. No one allowed in the Dr waiting room.

When he’s done I will be working from home in between trying to start and finish some small outdoor projects before parrotfest on the 23rd.

Good morning. I decided not to go to the Pelicans Meet The Team party tonight. It's a beautiful day right now but late this afternoon we're supposed to get rain. We could get up to 2 inches with 26 mph wind, I'd rather not have to drive home in that kind of weather.

Another boring day on tap! At least I found old episodes of "Burn Notice" on Prime Video. Loved that show!!

Temps are in the 60's, but WINDY! Gusts up to 50 MPH.

2 week surgery check up over the phone today. Hope to hear about release date for work and travel.

Another day of tornado watches and warnings, we've had severe weather every week for 4 weeks, prepping the patio is getting easier with practice. At least it's warm in the 70's.

I liked that show too, my favorite character was the sidekick Sam Axe. Piece of Burn Notice trivia - the main character's name was Michael Westen. In one episode one of the guest stars was an actor named Michael Weston, with an "o" instead of an "e". (I know a lot of useless information.)

On that note, I'm outta here. The bad weather is still a couple of hours away so I'm going for a stroll in the park.

We have a plumber putting in a new disposal. A few days ago, Ryan turned it on and all he got was a hum. Plumber said it was the motor.

And another plumber will be here to install a dishwasher. Been having trouble with this one for months. It will run AFTER you have started it about 10 times. Probably an easy fix but cheaper to buy a new one.

It's only $$$$

Storm just ran thru with a lightening strike less than 0.25 miles away. Damn near spilled my beer.

Temperature has dropped 10 degrees in 15 minutes.

Linda, I hope Kevin's procedure goes well! I had 3 of those in 2019, and they did nothing for me.

Sooooo, I got good news, and not so great (not my health, but traveling). I get to take all the bandages and steri strips off, and can take a full shower (without soaking my back)!!! Sadly, I'm not cleared to travel yet, so traveling to PA to see the Ringers and the gang is out.

Dishwasher is still in warehouse. Don't know when plumber will be coming.
