Mrs RIPH's Aunt is a resident of Bah Harbah. She heads down here for a break when the tourist season opens up there. Does not mind the snow or cold of Winter there but gets outta Dodge for a bit when the Tourists invade. Planning her escape now.

We have some good phriends coming this weekend to visit so I see some heavier than normal drinking in my future.

Morning BNers

Getting ready to head to the Dr.
Ugh

Good morning. The minor league baseball season starts today but the Pelicans are playing in Charleston this weekend, they don't have their first home game until Tuesday. I didn't renew my season ticket plan this year but I'm going to Tuesday's game. Beyond that, I don't know yet. They've had 3 bad seasons in a row so I'll give them a couple of weeks to see how they're playing before I decide how I want to spend my entertainment dollars.

I wanted to get my hair cut today so I went online to check in. The place opened at 10:00 and the wait time is already 2 hours and 8 minutes. It's only 1/2 mile away, maybe I'll watch one of the movies I have on my DVR before I head over there.

Nurse did prelims and ekg. So far, she says everything is normal.

That sounds like great news great, Molly.

When I had my scare, I needed to have the stress test and wear the monitoring device for 3 weeks. Did not like that at all.

My heart doctor has me do a stress test every year or so. Then I stress about the results.
Sometimes they run me on a treadmill, sometimes they inject me with stuff that makes my heart beat fast.

May be in the top 3 "Greatest Dive Bars" I have ever been in. The 747 Lounge near the Jacksonville, FL airport. Wow....they have a ceiling fan where each blade has a different color of LED lightening. Partner that with "Free Bird" blasting from the juke box.

Hi there! Due to my eye issues, I have empathy for a blind friend (Liz) and practice darkness while working out on an elliptical machine. I close my eyes for minutes on end and often think what she goes through. The other day, my eyes were tired from fishing in the sun. I don't blink enough which dries my eyes, so I did a lot of blinking. I started closing them after I cast, feeling the lure on the end of the line. A bass hit! I guess I should fish blind more often.
