Good morning peoples. The second round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs starts tonight but the Hurricanes-Rangers series doesn't start until tomorrow. I have no rooting interest in the 2 games that are on tonight.

I've planted myself on the Flames bandwagon. From the early 70's to the later 80's the Detroit "Dead Things" were not a cup challenger, thus I needed to attach myself to a playoff "B" team. The Calgary Flames became that team in the early 80's after leaving Atlanta. I'm not as familiar with the current roster other than star player Johnny Gaudreau as I was with the team "back in the day". I have noticed they have quite a few US born players including Gaudreau. Their battle for Alberta with Edmonton always has been & should be epic.

Well, yes..

This girl is home sick today. My 5th call off in almost 4 years. Don't know why, but I spent the entire night huddled in the bathroom. And got no sleep. Trying to snooze, but they are installing new roofs on all of the buildings. LOTS of 🛠

Another hot day. 91 degrees.

Astros lost last night after rain storm. Another Boston show tonight

It's my day off, but I had a nail appointment at 10:00 this morning. So I got up and got ready and I did a few chores before I left the house. I turned on the robot vacuum while I was gone, came home, switched the dogs laundry and cleaned their dishes. Just finished cleaning the bathroom and now I'm thinking that it's time for a margarita! Dinner is going to be a big chef salad

Hi there! It was a cool sunny spring day. I fished a little and worked way too hard digging a ditch. That was the easy part. Wheeling the mud away was a workout.

Hey everyone!

I spent 6 hours of my day off painting grandson Eli’s bedroom. It went smoothly until…… I finished the second coat and it appeared the mixing of the 2 cans partway through the project ( as I’ve always done at all pro painters’ suggestion) seemed to have gone awry. After the entire room was covered with a 2nd coat, the largest wall looked like 2 different shades were used! I put a 3rd coat on that wall ( but didn’t “edge”). Can definitely see a difference in the color. So tomorrow I will return and edge that wall, wait fir dry time and hope to goodness it’s Ok. If not I’m not sure how we will remedy the issue…… I’ve Painted the entire interior of every house (3 of them) we’ve owned without an issue. Can’t believe I have to deal with this now

may look better when it all dries..........
