Good morning BN. I love a good buffet, though haven't had one for awhile. I also misspelled JB's name several times.

Good morning Bill. I haven't been to a buffet in years, it's way too easy to eat too much.

The 3rd game of the Hurricanes-Rangers series is this afternoon. The Hurricanes won the first 2 in Raleigh but I'm not getting overconfident as they head up to NY for games 3 and 4. They won the first 2 games of their series at home against the Boston Bruins then went up to Boston for the next 2 and lost them both. I think I'll record the game then watch it later so I can fast forward through the commercials and ESPN's intermission show between periods.

Good afternoon -- slow day here at the buffet...folks must be out trying to enjoy the nice weather before it changes on them. Like ours will be doing this afternoon....."hazardous weather warning" coming later today.

I'm off work again tomorrow - was going to help a friend with her master bedroom closet re-do BUT they were in Nashville last week and she tested positive for Covid on Saturday so that project is a no-go. I guess I will hang out at a friend's pool instead. I know, how awful

Day 2 of 90. Last day of work. But still wish there was a quarantine.

I grabbed my iPod and I was about to go for a stroll around the neighborhood while I listened to some tunes. Then I looked outside, it looks like it's going to rain any minute. The forecast was for rain but not until tonight.

And it's pouring ...

Bryan is busy making batches of Bushwhackers for the freezer so we'll have an ample supply for the boat!
Doing laundry and other chores (I worked yesterday)
The Big dogs are snoozing away and are nice and fluffy as they had a trip to the groomer on Friday.
Think I'll make some peanut butter chocolate chip cookies... have a great Sunday!

Buffet

The Hurricanes lost, they've only scored 5 goals scored in 3 games so far. They need to pick it up a little. The good thing is, the Rangers have only scored 4.

When the hockey game ended, I went online to see how the Pelicans were doing. They were pitching another no-hitter, 2 outs in the 6th inning. They took the starting pitcher out and the relief pitcher gave up a hit to the first batter he pitched to. But they're winning 4-1.

Eight game winning streak for the Pelicans. They're still on a road trip for another week, I might have to let the moths out of my wallet and go to a game or 2 when they come back home a week from Tuesday.

Do they ever play in Pensacola or Biloxi???

No, there are 12 teams in the league - 4 each in North & South Carolina, 3 in Virginia and 1 in Maryland.

Yes, but this Buffet Sunday. The photo was from 2010. I misspelled Lynnrd Skynnrd at that tailgate.

I just went online and bought tickets to 2 games. One is Pirate Night and the other says it's "The Final Swim." We say a final goodbye to an alternate moniker as it swims off into the sea. I think it was 4 years ago they played one game as the Myrtle Beach Makos, that was one of the names they considered for the team when the franchise started back in 1998. I guess the mako will be leaving town.
