Washington state doesn't have an Income Tax (1 of 7 states that doesn't) but instead has a 6.5% Sales Tax; municipalities then add their bite, 3.75% in Seattle's case. Not applicable to groceries, but pretty much everything else.
Two things for certain, death and taxes.

Penny and E must be happy, the Colorado Avalanche won the Stanley Cup last night.
Guilty as charged.

Tack on the University of Denver winning a College Hockey Nat'l Championship this season also.
It has been a really good year to be a hockey fan in Colorado!
We renewed our DU season tickets before the conference tournament started. I've got a feeling that we will see more people at the rink this season!
