Good Morning!!
Today is the day to grab yourself a bottle of Grand Marnier & concoct yourself a batch of Margaritas! Ok, if you're wanting to whip something up with your GM be my guest!
Regardless, it's another day closer to the Pittsburgh peeps getting their Buffett show so I'm sure they're getting stoked. For me, another day closer to our annual family reunion Saturday.
Have a great day gang!

Good morning, guys. I just had a tooth drilled. My thermos coffee cup will have to wait till the Novocain wears off. Looking forward to the weekend. It's the first time I felt euphoric in 4 months.

Good morning Ken, George, Bill, and BN!
Another scorcher today - 100's again.
Work is short staffed, so everyone is kinda on edge.
And I'll take some of that Grand Marnier, please. My Dad used to love that stuff.
I have a new hire that is scheduled to take her drug screen - we set up a date/time, and it was confirmed this morning. I told her she was "Good to Go"!!. "Does that mean it's ok to come" she asks..

Good morning.
Yesterday was the first day NHL teams could sign free agents. When the season starts in October the Carolina Hurricanes are going to look different. Four of their players whose contracts expired signed with new teams. They also made 2 trades - one was 2 players going and 2 more coming in; the other was 2 new players for "future considerations". They also traded another guy last week and got a couple of draft choices in return. That's 7 players gone and so far 4 new ones.

So far the Avalanche are keeping in tact except for goalie Darcy Kuemper who signed with the Washington Capitals. He was a free agent, and wanted too much $$. Avs got another goalie from the NY Rangers, Alexandar Georgiev. Andre Burakovsky is joining the Seattle Kraken.

Georgiev is the first goalie from Bulgaria in NHL history. I don't know if he's the first Bulgarian or just the first goalie. (I know a lot of useless information.)

Real good pickups for the Canes. Burns & Pacioretty if healthy should add to the offense big time....which disappeared vs. the Rangers....although Rangers goalie WAS/IS top notch. On another note, there is also a Trop Rocker named Brent Burns so I find that amusing. And the musician Brent Burns' songs are amusing themselves so there's that!

Afternoon BN'ers.....
Grass needs cutting. Was looking forward to accomplishing such with a few cold beers. Leaving tomorrow morning for a 9 day trip so it had to be done today. Of course, was about 5 minutes in, and just cracked my first beer when my 1 year old (39 hours of operating time on it) John Deere just stopped running and will not start. Changed the fuel filter, but no success. And of course, it was as far away from the garage as it could possibly be for me to have to push it all the way back. Can't get it started. I decided to not try anymore. Called a friend who has a lawn service and he will stop by next week to give it a once over.
Why does this kind of crap always happen at the worst time.

My little Cub Cadet died. I took it to the dealer15 miles away and was charged 20$ for the service. A soft plastic side panel on the deck screws on and has a kill switch when it pops loose. The mechanic tightened the plate down. The plate pops loose during most mowing.

I was in grad school at the time, all of my classes were at night. I went to summer school that year so I could finish a semester early and was in class when the lights went out. It was fun driving home with no traffic lights or street lights.
